okay..here goes rant #2.

magic perm.  Why is it so freaking expensive, and then:

1) you can't wash your hair for 3 days after you get that perm.  The temperature's been in the 80's.  The perm itself stinks.  I have like 4 days off, 3 of which are without washing hair.  All of it means that I can't really go anywhere during those precious days off or do anything that will make me sweat.  Simply translated, I spend those precious days off sitting at home.

2)can't pin nor tie the hair for a week afterwards.   So how do I go to gym or exercise at all with hair down?

money management.

it's getting so complicated.  with loans, credit card bills, rent, unexpected spendings, such as those on car, and bills coming to two different addresses.  I really need to get better at this and get myself organized.

fatigue

I must be getting old.  Why, after work, do I just melt into the couch?  After work, I'm too tired to do anything.  How am I gonna fare after I graduate and have to work full-time?

keeping in touch with people/making plans to see people

Too many times, it feels like a burden than an enjoyment because..well, the reasons include the above two things:  money and fatigue.  But tons of other people face the same things and yet they still find time to do much more things.  Am I just plain lazy?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes.  Little, petty things DO bother me, because I can't handle even the little, petty things.

I really need to get organized.  I'm old, and I need to start handling things like a grown-up.

Who else finds having to memorize userID's, passwords, and PIN's annoying?

I DO!!  Everything requires userID, password, or PIN.  The problem is, I forget them!  When I write it down, sometimes I don't have that hardcopy at the exact time and at the place I need it.  And, when I've remembered it, they always need to change it!

Who else finds automated answering system annoying?

It's so..circuitous.

And now I find purchasing items from eBay very challenging and frustrating.  I'm never buying another thing from eBay again.

It seems like I and the technology do not get along.

Oh yeah, add to that car problems.

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him, He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering, Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised;  and we esteemed him not.  (Isaiah 53:2-3)

Watching World Cup matches consume maybe too much of my time.  But it's addicting.  Seriously.  All that excitement is simply irresistible.  Maybe I shouldn't feel too bad for spending too much time watching World Cup, because I will have to wait another 4 years for the next one.  By that time, I would already have graduated and everything, so that's a long time ahead.

Today, I watched the match between Germany and Poland.  Those giant, fast, German players were simply formidable.  If it weren't for the Polish goal keeper, Baruc, Poland would've done much worse than they did today.  That guy was a wall..even though he let in a shot in the 90th min. (the last minute) of the game.  But that was an amazing shot.. by a substitute player.  That's the beauty of the soccer match.  It's unpredictable.
