| The rumors are true - thirstborne will be officially disbanding following our final concert at Hesston College (august 20, 9 pm). The time seems right after an incredible 5-year journey. We would love to see any of you who can make it! There are already people tripping out to Kansas from Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and even Ohio for the last hurrah! We would love to see any of you who can make it.
In other news, our new CD 'here' is now available online! Go to www.thirdwaycafe.com and click on 'resources.' type in thirstborne in the 'quickfinder' box and you'll be there! We are really pleased with the way it turned out, and hope you will enjoy it as well.
Thank you all for your support and encouragement. We would love to hear from you via e-mail. jason, shick, erin, neil and kyle @thirstborne.com.
blessings,

| Hey, everybody!
It's Shick again and I just wanted to let you know that we finished our recording last Friday. It is being mixed and mastered by our good friend Andy Soemo. He was also the engineer and was a blast to work with. The project is turning out very well. I feel that it is an excellent representation of where we are at and what we are thinking about both musically and spiritually at this point in our lives. As with our other albums, this one has a good deal of variety, thus it is a good listen all the way through. If all goes as planned, we should have it out near the end of June.
Enough advertising, now an update. The band is in Canada in the Vancouver area for a few days. Erin and I had to leave the guys for a few days to attend a funeral. We meet up again on Friday, and will travel on to Saskatchewan.
Blessings to all.

| Hey all! Its Shick, and I'm in Albany, Oregon. Fish and I are watching the Pixies play on Austin City Limits. They have some of the strangest music I've heard in a while. The people in the audience are diggin' it. To each his own, I guess. Well, Fish just changed the channel.
We are heading to Seattle early tomorrow morning. As Fish told you a while ago, we're gonna be recording there. We worked on a new tune pretty hard today, and we are all very excited about how it's coming together. The engineer we are going to work with on the recording is very good at vocal production. He'll work with us on the harmonies and other stuff. He's also a fun guy to hang out with.
I have been reading through a men's devotional Bible in my daily devotional time. Each of the daily readings addresses issues that we face as Christians in today's world. It often gives bible-based advice on how to handle these issues. I really like it because it uses passages from both testaments. Anyway, my devotions on Thursday addressed our integrity as representatives of our faith. It was a reminder that we need to be aware of what we are saying and what we are promoting from our place in the public eye. As I thought about this, I realized that God has been along with the band helping us so we can keep from slipping up. With His help and the accountability of our friends, we are able to see the potential impact that our words and actions might have. Our desire is for that impact to be on track with all that is good in the eyes of God.
God has been teaching us all some very exciting things through our daily devotions, as well as our interaction with old and new friends. I want to encourage you all to take the time to study, chat, listen, and learn. God has stuff to teach you, too.
God Bless
