| To Captain Jack,My captain, I am sorry for the delay in my updating. Life is going pretty well. I am still in the midst of raising support to go on full time staff here at Y.D. in moses lake. It's been an interesting year for us at Y.D. numbers are lower than anticipated, but we are not worried. Low numbers allow us to be more personable and connect better with the students. Mininistry in the church is going well also. Just yesterday, while attending a meeting of my church's mission committee, where I shared how my involvement in Y.D. is going, the committee asked me to join them to bring the "youth perspective" into the group. I counted that an honor. This year I have been given more opportunity to teach in the high school group, which is one thing I love to do. My father is having hip replacement surgery on the 26th of november. Hopefully for the last time. It's been a rough year health wise for him. It is neat to see though through all of it his attention has never left that of the Lord. Knowing that the Lord's plan is a perfect one. My sister had her appendix out last week. Everything looks to be o.k. now. It was quite a suprise to receive a phone call from her on a thursday morning to find out the night before she went into the emergency room due to a painful ache resulting from the appendix. I have a bit of a cold myself. As our old friend David Ixemier would say, I'm feeling quite ill.

p.s. I will be posting new photos soon.

| I sat on the gravel the other night talking to my brother and sister in law. It was a great night. I met my nephew and got to feed him. He is one big baby. Playing pirates with my niece was a blast. But the conversation between Jon and I took the cake for the evening. I don't leave his house till about 1:30 in the morning. and I had to be up for work two hours later. |

| I spent the evening with my "aunt and uncle". We talked about old times and memories. The coolest part is that they said they want to support me financially as I go on staff at YD.
Oh. and I got a hair cut today. |
