| after leaving i changed my mind....

| I want to be where I've never been before
I want to be there and then I'd understand

| Thanks to a special someone for calling me and reminding who it is I
really am and what I love most in life..and that sometimes you are on
the minds of people you would least expect.
it's calls like that when I realize that I truly am loved...no pretending...

| So let me inform you of how my summer has been going so far..I've been
working as a counselor at Shetek Lutheran Ministries near Slayton MN,
which is like 4 hours from Wakefield for all you Wakefield
people. It's been going so well I love it here! I've
learned so much in the 4 weeks that I've been here it's amazing!
And what a great way to spend your summer! I live on an island so
I'm surrounded by water, and so I'm constantly out on the lake and it's
so great! It's also help me grow in my faith so much and to see
the difference that you are making in kid's lives..seriously..no other
feeling would describe that! Here's a note that I got from one of
my girls that I had last week..and this is how I know that I'm doing
what I've been called to do...
You are the best counselor I've ever
had Ashley. No one has ever said those things about me that you
said. Before I use to question God a lot and not believe really
but now I have such a good strong faith. Thanks for being so kind
to us and making us laugh and opening up and sharing your experiences
with us. i use to care what people thought about me but now i
could care less!
