I had the best summer of my life.
I met the most amazing people and have the craziest stories to tell.
Camp stories are best told in person.
I am going back to Manhattan tomorrow (couldn't be happier)
I will be back in business with my girl, Meghan! And a crazy Aussie and New Zealander to boot!
I am training for a marathon (26.2 miles) in December.
I am getting my EMT certification in spring.
I am going on road trip #2 to Chicago with the greatest people to see:

JACK JOHNSON!

Planned and will put on the best union expo. ever because Meghan and I have the best advisor ever! Props to Ben.
UPC retreat next weekend.

P.S. check out the picture. This is the 2005 Oakledge pool staff... best one yet.

Hannah is correct... time for something new! So two weekends ago I went to Topeka with Meghan and it was fabulous... we took great pictures with statues around Topeka, then drove back to take tickets for UPC, then saw the interpreter. had a busy week, then last weekend I went home to go to an aquatics leadership thing the red cross offerred and it was, hands down, the best red cross function I have ever been to. Got to hang out with some great people before coming back to Manhattan... this week is flying by! Got a mother's day gift in the mail, getting up at 7 tomorrow (usually my sleep-in day) so that andy, meghan, and I can watch the last 2 episodes of a season of 24 while eating dasher's breakfast. later in the day meghan and i are going shopping for going-out clothes because some of the girls on the floor are going to have one last hurrah before finals and we need something hot to wear. on friday meghan and I have a UPC banquet to attend and we are pumped because we are going to spend all afternoon getting ready! then finals next week, partying the week after that with people i won't see all summer, then off to camp related activites! its going to rock!!!

So I still don't have much to say on this thing.
I had a rockin spring break.
I am glad that I am in Manhattan and independent.
I love the movie Kinsey and Neeson.
I got a load of responses from my applications, but Oakledge nabbed me for at least one more summer.
I am in love with Jack Johnson and will have his musically inclined babies.
My life rocks... besides the fact that my lymph nodes swelled, and it looked like I had balls in my throat.
I'm out. Peace.
P.S. Prrrrrr

I just have to tell the world what a bad-ass night I just had! Meghan and I went to see Mo Rocca at the student union. We got there early and still got crap-tastic seats three rows from the back, BUT Ben (the union program council guy) came and said he needed us (because we are on the union program council) and then he gave us seats in the center of the second row! It was the funniest thing I have seen in a LONG time! Then we got in this huge line to have him sign something, and Ben comes back and says he needs us to go take tickets for the Team America movie playing in the union theater. So we go do that, and Ben comes back, and he and I tell the crowd in the theater that the movie didn;t come, so they were going to watch Mary Poppins. They were kind of stunned, then we told them we were kidding, and it was good. THEN, Meghan and I got to briefly HANG OUT with Mo Rocca himself! And we got our picture with him! Then I walked home with Emily, Taylor, Kenny, Justin, and Ryan because Meghan disappeared! But yes, this night has been the best in a long time!

Yes, it was about time for a new one. SO much to say! Well, finals went amazingly well because my first semester at K-State resulted in all A's! 4.0 baby! Then I drove back up here to move into our new room... 235 Boyd if you know Meghan Newman or me because our room is flippin sweet! Saturday I took Ryan to Starker's Reserve for his birthday, and that was so cool, too! They asked us if we wanted the wine list when they seated us! It was good fun. Sunday I went to a Christmas party thing and I HAVE TO GET THE PICTURES SENT TO EMILY!!! Then time flew.. I saw the exorcist, Christmas was awesome, my family came into town and we played a crap load of taboo, my cousin has boobs!, my mom had her birthday, hung out with friends, had an incredibly strange encounter with someone I don't really talk to, New Years rocked, saw Hannah Banana, went to the Melting Pot!, saw all of my camp staff friends, saw the kiddos that I babysit, so much more stuff happened, but it might bore some of you. Saw Meet the Fockers and Finding Neverland... both are phenomeonal! I am back in Manhattan and classes start tomorrow. I am so excited for a brand new semester filled with positive people. We have a car in Manhattan now and Meghan and I will be religious rec. goers (hopefully). It is getting late because I have a 7:30 class tomorrow. Sweet dreams to you all.

Pro about dorm restrooms: toilet paper will always be there since no boys use the restroom. Con: the toilet paper that is guaranteed to be there will be scratchy one-ply.

"This is used filter?!"
