DAY 3

Today I have to throw away something I like.

I'll decide at the end of the day but I'll make a list here and resons why I'm willing to toss it.

1. The mini-disc player.

2. my glasses.

3. my old computer that I just use for word processing.

4. my yellow journal from the last year.

5. Crap. I don't know...

I didn't bring a lot with me in the first place so this is going to be difficult. Everything I brought  I need in one way or another.

I'll find something.

And I did.

Today I let go of Fear.

DAY 2

Today I gazed at everyone like they were the love of my life.

It got me a free bus ride on the way home.

Everyone I talked to I kind of looked at them like this:

I have another look, you know the real look...but its reserved for someone already. She knows what it looks like.

DAY 1

As this was my first day, I decided to warm up with an easy task that would only change my life a little bit.

I moved away from home.

I moved from the not-so-sunny vales of Kankakee County to a wonderful red velvet couch in a friends apartment in Chicago, Illinois. I have nothing. I brought some books, a bit of music and lots of blank paper. Initiative, ambition, and anger fill my mind today: I am now looking forward. Although todays plan was to do something small and ambiguous...I just couldn't bear to stay another day. I've done press ups. I did jaywalk on the way to the apartment and it felt good. I say yo most of the time instead of hello. My pinky toe is defintely the prettiest.

I'm going to write every day. I would have opened the book and took the plunge to do something outrageous but this is a deep breath before I give myself totally to the book, and to destiny.

Sounds like a bunch of crap, but its worth doing for now.

Line of the Day:

"Heres to another God-Damn New-Year..."

Dismemberment Plan

Ice of Boston

Yo, until tomorrow.

This book better change my life...

This is the preparation. The final weeks before the great transformation. I am ready to give my life to the book, as the book has been ready to tell me what to do. Oh what a glorious day it will be on the final day! This post is just to add a little disclaimer:

I know not everything in the book is possible to do, but I will adhere to the strict instructions contained within its pages. I will put forth the effort to live out each day according to the book and hopefully I will feel the results and it will benefit those around me also.

This is my writing project. I love to write, I love keeping journals- but I don't think its something I'm good at. So if you'd like to follow me watch me improve my skills, I welcome you...

As a wise man said:

You are invited...by anyone to do anything.

You are invited for all time.

You are so needed...

by every one to do everything.

you are invited for all time.
