It's Time To Move On...

It's time to move on, it's time to get goin'
What lays ahead I have no way of knowin'
But under my feet baby, the grass is growin'
Yeah it's time to move, time to get goin'
- Tom Petty

Well, it's become clear to me that Xanga limits who can comment on my journal. It's also become clear that as a new chapter unfolds in my life, I need to change to accomodate that.

So now both myself, and my wife will be sharing a journal (but I will mainly do the blogging) over at blogspot. You can find it at http://mowdaymadness.blogspot.com and EVERYONE can comment. I'll be keeping this account but the posts will be alot more scarce here now.

Love You All!!!

A Day Of Kickin' Back

Mel and I decided a few weeks ago that we would take time out from wedding planning, and just have an enjoyable day. We decided this enjoyable day would involve us buying tickets to the American Choppers Live Australia Show which was on in Sydney and taking her dad Kev, who is a big fan of the show. It was a long day, and there was alot that wasn't right with the day, but at the same time there was alotta good too!!! Due to the expensive nature of shipping motocycles from New York to Australia, Orange County Choppers only brought 4 bikes with them, however we Aussies made up for that with tons and tons of wicked cool Aussie bikes. Mel and I took a heck of a lot of photos, but here are just a few of my favourites:

This first one was just a random guy's bike who rode to the event and parked outside. I call it the Jesus Bike because it has a nail-pierced hand on the side, jesus fac on the tank, a sacred heart and a weird looking angel. A heavenly ride...

This is one of the four OCC brought. It's a New York Jets team bike. I love the tubing which reads "Jets".

This bike was Mel's favourite, and it won the People's Choice award. Watch the speedbumps though...

I know what you are thinking... no, that's not why I like this bike. The custom fenders kick butt, very inovative.

This badboy was made right here on the Central Coast, and for some reason reminds me of my buddy Nick... Flame On!

Anyway, that was my day of no wedding plans, and I enjoyed it. It rained all through the OCC stage show, and we were a really rowdy crowd (You would be frustrated too if you had to wait in the rain for 4 hours doing nothing).
