| Happy Holidays!as the hectic season is upon us, i had the chance to reflect to be grateful for what i had, what i have and what i will have. i hope this holiday season, we all can prioritize the important things in our lives and not what we want for ourselves (i.e money, career).
being in new york, i also noticed that christmas actually feels like christmas! the decorations everywhere, roasted chestnuts sold in street vendors, the cold weather, the numerous ice rinks, and of course, the HUGE christmas tree at Rockefeller center... love it.
this year, for xmas, i got an iphone :) no, it was not a gift to self... it was a gift of love from lover. aaaaaand, i get to go home to visit my loved ones back in cali!!! whoo-hoo!!!
merry christmas everyone and a wonderful new year's!

| Freezingit's freezing in new york... or the east coast or.. whatever. it's cold where i'm at and i long for the good ol' days in cali when i was wearing a mini-skirt with a jacket and uggz with my scarf (worn as a fashion statement) frolicking around during the "winter". long johns are cool. they are a necessity and if anyone is compelled to send me anything to keep me warm, send it my way. thanks. mid-60s is NOT cold californians.

| from nyc...since i've been in new york, i have been able to check out the many swanky lounges, bars and concerts here...
i've been to le sook, hotel gansavoort, pegu club, buddha bar, cielo,
lotus, level v, ava lounge and had the chance to indulge in john
williams concert (he's the one who created the soundtrack music to
indiana jones, e.t, star wars, harry potter), and yo yo ma (showcasing
dvorak) at the new york philharmonic at lincoln center - compliments of
mr. dustin kim. it was amazing.
the lounges and bars in the city are as swanky as the top LA bars, lounges, and
clubs but it is significantly smaller in size which exuberates a more
intimate feel... and the new yorkers begin their night debauchery
around 11:30 or 12 and retires around 4 to an eatery to conclude the
night. i haven't been able to party hardy til 4 in the morn yet but i
shall embark on the journey in the near future.
i also had the chance to frolick around the city- solo, going from
uptown to midtown to soho and the financial district... and traveled to
maryland, d.c. and plan on going to boston next weekend. i've
also had the chance to bum it at home :)
i wish i had some pictures to post but haven't uploaded them yet and
... im horrible with taking pictures. just not a big fan of taking
pictures...
despite of all the excitement and exploring, i do miss home and i plan
on visiting in october instead of november and then christmas.
play time will be over at the end of sept., and i shall becoming a working career driven woman. wish me luck-
