| Home, bored already...hung out with Heather Pabst yesterday and that was fun but this week is proving to be busily boring. I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon and I'm a little apprehensive about that. I had a pretty good second semester in school, it was amazing to have a crazy girl like Emily there to make sure I didn't stay on task and for me to keep off task. Didn't really get much out of Final Fling this year but that is cool because I helped Emily and her mom destroy the room. Getting nervous about Graceland Repping and about being a House President next year but everything should be cool I just have to relax. Making pretty good grades this year and that is exciting considering I've never really been a good grade kid who could maintain above a 3.75. I miss Emily a lot lately which is kinda pathetically cute but thats cool. Haven't updated in forever, I know...too busy with Facebook and nothing. Suprising how nothing can fill up your time so fast. Birthday is June 6 encounting, w00t! Emily is coming up to have an early birthday thing (hopefully) and then I'm off to Lamoni to begin my summer job. Hope everyone is doing well.

| Well Folks...since I haven't posted in quite a long time I figured I would update. Got back from school last Thursday and have been hanging out with the family and driving my grandpa to the radiation oncologist every day which blows because he lives so far away and we have to drive down there pick him up drive to the place drive back and then drive home...takes forever. Mom and my brother Paul are down in Oklahoma right now at a wedding which sounds like lots of fun. I had another exciting experience yesterday but I can't post it since I'm trying to surprise people. Making a Christmas present (how the hell do you spell that...) for Emily that I am super stoked to give to her. Things with Emily are going amazing, it feels like we have been dating for so much longer than we really have but I think that is pretty neat. Miss hanging out with her and all my friends. My brother's girlfriend comes up next week for New Years along with Emily, I'm hoping that goes well. I got all A's for the semester which totally surprised me because I figured I wasn't going to do anywhere near that well...w00t! Myles is stuck at home with his damn sister who flipped his car and still hasn't apologized. Right now he is at his grandparents under strict surveillance but about to leave for Illinois tomorrow (lucky him...NOT!) Was going to go to a KU game on Monday but weather and time didn't permit; oh well, maybe next time. So glad that this semester is over, don't think I could have taken much more of my classes or the people. Happy Holidays to everyone out there (except for you Bill O'Reilly...bastard) hope you all stay safe and have a great one.

| Went to the play today with Emily and we had a darn tootin' good time and the 'rents came and visited yesterday for Homecoming which was loads of fun. Met Emily's family and had a lot of fun with them and now I'm just thinking about doing homework...gack...Been getting into playing NCAA Football 2006 lately...haha kinda entertaining. Still having an amazing year at Graceland this year, Graceland almost totally choked at the game yesterday though. Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of my day but I'm sure I'll find something to do. Have a great day peeps.

| Yeah, I know that it has been a while since I updated so sue me...Today was a fun day, my one class got cancelled so it was pretty much a lazy day where I got to do whatever I wanted. I went outside and read a book with Emily today and that was pretty fun and then went and lost an IM game of football which was also pretty fun except for when I ran into some guy and totally pissed him off. School is going great! Homecoming is the 14-16 of Oct. Scottie should come up and visit me and we can hang out and see all those fun people from camp. YIP YIP YIPEE! Had a pretty shitty conversation with my ex the other night but I feel a whole lot better about everything even after the hate mail that followed from the boyfriend and her good friend. Went to Wal-Mart last night with Cory Upson and a couple other guys, we had a good time and Cory fell flat on his face like the boobie that he is. Get to be a lawyer again tomorrow and that is exciting and this weekend I go to Chicago!!! YES!!! I'm pretty stoked about everything. Trying to sign up for the guitar winter term but I have to get my stinky old Calculus teacher's permission...dammit...Myles is doing well and we play games together and watch movies and act like idiots, fun stuff. Hope to see everyone again. Come visit me! I'm on facebook now, Daniel Hartford signing off.

| Finished my stupid book today! w00t! I'm also about to beat Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne and maybe tomorrow go to WORLDS OF FUN. Just so happens that I've never been there. Pretty sure I was talking to my mom on the way to Minnesota about being adopted and what not and what I thought about my birth parents and my situation and if they loved me or not and I figured out one fact that will keep me happy for years to come...I'm Catholic! Ha! Turns out my parents were Catholic and thus, I was baptized a Catholic before I was given up for adoption at 14 months. Now you may say that just because I was baptized as a baby doesn't make me Catholic since I've been baptized Community of Christ since but I don't care...in my heart I can pretend to be a Catholic. HAIL TO THE POPE! Talked to Stet the other night and that was pretty cool, had a hard time getting ahold of that little mother trucker...shoo. Myles was supposed to have finished work today but it turns out his grandpa wants to keep him working forever and never give him a break; thus, he has to work at least one more day for his Grandpa. SUCKER! He really does deserve on account of how big an asshole he is to everyone he knows even if deep down inside he really is cool, caring guy. He still has to work! HA! F Ya! Started another Dean Koontz book today, wow...person dies in the first 29 pages but I still like him. Very interesting author...yet again you all must read Life Expectancy by Dean Koontz, well worth your time. Back to school in two days basically and I'm as excited as ever and somewhat apprehensive...I really don't want to have to do millions of ice-breakers each and every year. Oh well, can't wait to see you all come soon. Saw Garet and Reed on my way home from Robinsdale and laughed at how much they haven't changed...man I love those guys, can't wait to hang out and watch Smallville with all my loser friends and uber stoked about Donahoe and I rooming together. Can't wait to drive his vegetarian butt insane. Oh well, bad punctuation and spelling has to come to an end sometime and that sometime is now...Have a great night folks and I hope your having as great a day as I am (or even better). Your biggest fan, this is Dan.
Oh yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGAN!!! | | |
