wa la la, i'm in the land of the Can-ada!!!! (can Ada? YES she can! *cackles*) the weather here is so nice. although it gets a bit chilly in the evening. it's only been 2 days, and i feel its all moving just a bit too fast. but i'm sure i'll get used to it. everyone says i'll settle down sooner or later. i got my student id today. i look like a burnt pancake, with pink lips. its so gross. i want to 'lose' it and get a new one. oh gosh, its so horrible...OH and i got my phone muahaha. it isn't a camphone though, cause my dad keeps saying they're useless and a waste of money (which is kinda true, but they're still fun) its small and its a flip phone. i've wanted one of those for a while now.

anyway, i'm so crazily jetlagged its not even funny. i'm yawning every 5 seconds and i wake up at 3:30 craving food. my appetite's gone all wonked up. ahhaha i sound like i'm pregnant.

anywaaaaaaay. gotta sleep. bye bye

Just a short entry, to say 'Bye' to Hong Kong...=( so surreal. It still hasn't completely hit me yet. I'm sure it will tmr though. at 4:30pm tmr, the 22nd of August, Ada will fly off to the land of Canada. AAHH!!! anyway, to everyone here in Hong Kong, or ones that have already left, thank you for being a part of my life. Like what sam said...each friend becomes a part of the puzzle of our lives. Once that one piece is taken away, the picture isn't complete. i'm not going to let any of you go, you know who you are =)

See you all soon <3

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't belive i have less than a week left in Hongers. i just started packing...there's so much to do! so many people to see. i'm starting to panic. and then there's me being the emotional duck (direct quote, by Kitti Wong =D) i don't want to bawl like a baby the day i leave. but i know i prob will. i can imagine it, a bunch of my friends at the airport, saying 'bye' and hugging. and telling me we'll all see each other again very soon during Christmas. ARGH i'm dreading it.

but lets stop complaining. i've had a really fun week. first off, the amazing work of God, three people i know getting baptized. two being my GOOD FRIENDS, Angie and Justin (yes, i'm classifying you, Justin Chiang as a good friend of mine, don't you feel loved?) It was so great, last year's baptism team helping out this year with the praise and worship, and just, being an onlooker this time round. I remember just how happy i was when i myself got baptized. i wanted to climb a mountain and shout my praises to the Lord at the very top. yup yup.

and then the next day, my last time at NPAC English worship, till i get back during christmas =( The boat trip afterwards was mighty fun. Roby and i thought we were the only young ppl that would be on the boat, turns out we were wrong. sunbathing and swimming and running away from sleazy guys with speedos (uuuhhh, can i have numBA?!) and just laughing and relaxing under the sun and waves *sighs* i wish i could do that everyday -_-

and then yesterday, joce, bee and i got together and we went to saikung and lazed around all daaaaaaaaaay. watching the Olympics, enjoying the beauty of air conditioning, walking to the beach and back. and last but DEF not least, cooking our own food! ahhahahaha dumplings all the way baby. and fruits, and junk food muahhahahaa.

and TA DA pics pics pics

last year's baptism candidates (i need to airbrush in josiah hahaa)

Candidate #1: Justin in the middle! (roby, you look SO gorgeous in this pic. MODEL MODEL!!!!!)

Candidate #2 Moses!

Angie! between me and roby, i don't

understand why this pic is so small....

and good ol' sam. Glad you're back hun ;)

and NOW, pics of the boat trip!

Brit, Kim and Shannon

me and roby dearest <3

ARGH why are my photos all diff sizes this is driving me INSAAAAAAAANE *ahem* from the left, roby, shannon, kim, brit and yours truly. hahahaa the hot young girls at NPAC. Angela was saying the church should use this pic to advertise. i think that would give the wrong image, don't you think??

oh my goodness, i love this pic. i LOVE it. see how well danny swims? he needs a bright yellow baby life buoy to help him *cackles*

on the way back home

and back home again. see, i look really short in this pic. but its just because i'm bending down. OKAY?

If joce can cook, so can you!!!! see the dumplings? we ate them....all day -_-

HAHAHHAHAHA look at her expression. ah, they're just fishballs bertha dear. you are too cute.

pweeeeeeety??

and that is all. i'll see whether i have time to update again before i go to the Canada. argh, i'm anticipating a very busy week. and now, back to packing...

This has been a difficult week. Two of the very best friends i've made during high school has packed their bags and made their way to university. Dinner at the Peak Lookout was lovely. It's going to be one of the last times Tan, Serrie, Rach and i will be eating together, until a very very long time. Then waking up at 5:30am to see Serrie off at the airport express. I was sleepy, but my groggy eyes didn't make the situation any less real. i'm missing you so much serrie, and thank you for the letter =) Then Liz packed her bags and is going off in a couple of hours. The whole goodbye process was just like a movie. We hugged, said goodbye, but the realisation didn't really kick in, not quite yet. It was when the car was driving away, and Liz just stood there waving, with a smile on her face. Then the car turned a corner, and she was gone. Ah, see, i started bawling right then and there. and then i cried the whole way home.

I know we're all going to see each other again. I know this isn't goodbye forever. But i'm going to miss all the small things. being able to call you up, to eat sushi ;) to have random chats on msn and still know i can see you the next day. There are so many memories, crazy, sweet, that i'll always cherish. blah. University will be the experience of a lifetime, but just, we're leaving so much behind. But then again, everyone else is in the same situation.

I love you guys. so so much.

Okey, i think the pictures will tell the story. Or in other words, Roby and i are kind of insane sometimes...

BEFORE

and i think the juice had something to do with it:

AFTER

doesn't she look like, hypnotised in this pic? its kinda scary.

yeah, she found the wall scary...weird.

and then she made friends with the starbucks advertisment brochure *sighs*

and i found it all very amusing. la la la. ok ok, done. OH and we also spotted a Jo Trinh look-alike, but a skinnier version hahahahha and here is his pic (that we took, oh-so-discreetly)

and another one:

and dude, if this guy ever came across my xanga, by some crazy chance, he'd be really scared.

ok, bye bye
