GOOD LORD!!

I can't believe I haven't logged into this site since christmas!!

wow!!!! what is that saying , time flys????

summer is in full bloom around these here parts!

I have become quite the little gardner (flowers)

never tried before and now I have them growing every where (whew)

now I know why I didn't have them. got to take care of them along with everything else that eats and breathes around here!

I have so much to try and catch up on I don't think I'll try.

The saddest thing that has happened lately, is I lost my old 19 and 1/2 year old gelding to colic last week.

he was born here and passed away here!

he is now in the grave yard on the hill with Duke,Doc and RJ the best dog that ever lived!

I have a new dog now he is a welch corgie. He's a real pistol!!

I'm still riding and doing my paper route on wed night's.

I have been posting a lot of my poems on a new site I found called poetrypoem.com I kind of enjoy posting my poems.

hope everyone out there is kicking along happy and healthy.

maybe I'll try to check in a little sooner this time hahah

hugs Diana

Christmas is coming!

REMEMBER THIS A T CHRISTMAS TIME

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known... ONLY women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

Waco Trip

DSC00008 Well as usual I'm running way behind!

Been doing a lot of projects, some for christmas some for me.

On Nov 17-19 terry and i took a trip to waco for a horse clinic put on by a young man named Clinton Anderson who by the way i really enjoy! anyways thought I would post a few picts of my love and i messing around Waco. We went to the suspention Bridge, by the way  which was the largest this side of the mississippi. as you stand there looking across you can almost imagine all the pioneer men and women that crossed that bridge which spans the Brasos river. Enjoy the pictures and I will try to post some pictures of some of the cool projects i've been working on maybe tomorrow.

Happy December and all it entails my xanga friends.

AND SO ENDS ANOTHER WEEK

just a quick entry to say it was a beautiful Sunday!

Lots of sunshine, and wind!

I have about 3projects going on and can't seem to settle into one, just keep jumping from one to the other. lol

hopefully tomorrow I can get the table and chairs I'm working on painted. It's either been to cold or to windy the last couple of days.

I got a really cool dresser from my niece today, that I'm going to turn into an entertainment center. It will take very little work and she'll probably want it back when I'm done!  lol

well think I'm going to take a hot bath and try to catch the 3 hours of sleep I lost last night hahah

have a great week

Diana
