| My job is awesome! Not only am I allowed to do a 4/10 schedule and get every Friday off, but now that I have a laptop I can work from home 1 day a week. That means I only have to commute into DC 3 days a week. That will save me sooooooo much time and money. Yeah! 
On top of that, there is a chance that I will be able to work from home even more. My office is testing a new program called "Virtual Office". If I'm allowed to participate, then I only have to go into work 1 day a week. Also, my job will provide me with a 2-drawer filing cabinet and an all-in-one printer to use at home. How cool is that? I love that the government is so pro-telecommuting.

| Finally!!!!! I'm getting fiber optic internet at my house. Yippie!!!!  You don't understand...it is soooooo much cheaper than cable out here. I'm paying almost $70/month for internet right now.  How ridiculous is that???? As soon as they get the lines laid, I'm canceling Comcast and moving to Verizon. Yeah baby!
Anyways, not too much else to report. Still working for the government. It's a good job and I think I'll be sticking with it for at least a few years before I decide what I want to do. I haven't had time to do much else. You want to hear how crazy my days are? My alarm goes off at 4:45am (yes...you read it correctly!), I leave my house by 5:30am. Get to work at 7am. Work until 5:30pm. Get to my parent's house for dinner at 6:30pm. Finally, get home at 7:30pm. In bed and asleep by 8:30pm. See? No time for anything except work and sleep. That's what I get for doing a 4/10 schedule.  At least I get every Friday off!

| Today is my last day at work, and boy am I bored! I've got nothing to do. At least I get to start sleeping in again. Yeah! No more early wakings and long driving commute.

| Well...it's my birthday today. Another day...another year. Sigh!
The thing that sucks about today is that I have to WORK! Ugh! I've never worked or gone to school on my birthday. I always take the day off. Unfortunately, I don't have time I can use to take off and since tomorrow is my last day at work, it would be weird taking off. I guess I'll just have to suffer surfing the internet all day.

| Well....I put in my official notice of resignation at work today. My last day is this Friday. I start my new job on Dec. 26th. I really hope I like working for the U.S. government once I start. It only took 7 MONTHS to find out I got this job. It better all be worth it. hahaha!  I will soon be an official civil servant and with the department I'm working for....you all better be nice to me or I can cause you some major trouble. muhahaha!!! 
Now don't you all forget that my birthday is in 2 days. Birthday presents are more than welcome.
