| Important Update
|
| |
| I went on a date today. It was nice.
Despite me spitting up salmon eggs.
It's hard to look someone in the eyes when they have such massive pecs.

| Back from hiatus. I went to B&N today, grabbed a few books (Rousseau,
Paul, Rooney and other favourites), and just read for a few hours in a
big comfy chair. The Rousseau made me reflect. The Paul made me angry.
The Rooney made me laugh. The Orwell made me imagine. Others helped me
rejuvenate. I feel so much more healthier.
Then
Austen proceeded to purchase a book he already owned by accident. How
does one do that? Austen forgot he loaned it to his dad.
A well-read worker there turned me on to a couple of authors and filmakers.
Speaking
of film, PS: If they cancel the Academy Awards, it will put a huge
crimp in my year. Award season is one of my favorite stretches of time.
I don't care that they canceled the Globes because, let's face it,
boasting about winning Golden Globes is like boasting over a bronze
medal. The only excitement there is in a bronze win is a bit of press
coverage. Oscar night is oh so very exciting though!
Not that
it's a part of the film industry, but I hope they get around to
canceling the Grammys. We could go a few centuries without those putrid
statuettes. |

| a christmas blog.| =] | I haven't been happier than I am today in a long time. Christmas was really good.
It was different this year because Steve's parents and Andrew and his girlfriend (soon to be wife I hope because I like her a lot) joined us for lunch over at my aunt's. And half of my family wasn't there just because we've had so many marriages and babies lately. That was sad but we made it out okay.
My cousins Lindsey and David and I had a ball watching Fievel Goes West (classic!). Lindsey just got back from her internship for MTV in New York City. She got to escort people down the red carpet of a few movie premieres - including Johnny Depp at Sweeny Todd. She's going to go out to LA in Febuary. I love her a lot. I love all of them a lot - despite their rigid Christianity. We're family and that's something I don't have with my dad and I'm grateful for what I do get of it.
I'm getting my Zune tomorrow. :] Mom and I are going out shopping. We were originally going up to Silver Dollar City but since it's raining we're going up there on Thursday.
I regret to say that Abigail and Rachel just got back from their mom's but it was nice having a day away from them. Mom and I always talk about how much we hate them. HAHA!
I hope yours was just as wonderful, if not more<3. |
