| So, it’s now time for the second exam of the day. I, both fortunately and unfortunately, do not have a second exam for today. But I can’t go home early because 1)I have no way of getting there(no car, no license, no parent that can drive me) and 2)I have dance auditions for Blast ’05 right after the second exam period. So, I’m stuck here in the media center for two hours, with nothing to do. Well, I’m also studying for my Modern World History exam. But that’s really boring. So, I’m gonna be bored for 2 hours. Whopee! Actually, I’m typing this up on Microsoft Word so that I don’t get in trouble for being on the internet. That would be bad. So, as I’m writing this, I’m not actually on my xTools. I’m just on my account, “typing up a paper” or whatever it is that they think I’m doing. Maybe sometime before this 2 hr. block is over, I can start stretching for the auditions. I haven’t stretched in a while, though I should be doing it regularly. Dani Snyder and I are wasting time together, right next to each other, updating our xangas.
This morning, I had a different routine than usual. After I woke up, I got dressed in my jazz pants and put my sweatpants on over that. Outside it was 15 degees, with a windchill of something like 0-5 below. THAT’S COLD!!! And as everyone knows, I HATE the cold. Then, I went into the bathroom, and put my hair in a high ponytail, twisted it, and put it into a bun. Then, I used bobby pins to put up all the hair that won’t go into the ponytail. You see, I have a lot of hair that isn’t long enough to go into a ponytail, and it gets in my face, especially when I’m dancing (dance auditions today, remember?), and I very much dislike it. So I wanted to stop that from happening. After the bobby pins, I used “super-hold hairspray” to keep all of my hair from moving/frizzing and then getting into my face/to make it shiny. Then it’s get breakfast, and out the door. I almost missed the bus, but didn’t.
I had my computer programming exam today. It was 100 multiple choice questions. It was so easy. It took me all of 45 minutes to finish. Then, I did some search and finds to keep myself occupied. I went AA in that class, so I felt no pressure on that extremely easy exam. I don’t know why, but for some reason, I understand what’s going on in the class.
Yesterday, I was supposed to have rehearsal for M*A*S*H, but that didn’t happen because there was no one to let us into the school. So, mom and I went to the car dealership. I had gone the day before with dad, but my mom wanted my input on the cars while she was there. That was really nice of her. She’s becoming super-cool lately. We haven’t been fighting, and I’ve been doing stuff (usually) the first time she asks me, or without being asked, and I don’t get yelled at. YAY! Anyhow, so I like the Corolla best of the three that we tried (corolla, prius, and scion xA). The prius had a really cool display, but it would be distracting to me because I have ADHD and my eyes usually move to where there’s movement. The xA kept foggin up b/c of the heat, and its acceleration was slow. Sometimes it felt like it was stuggling, and you could really feel the road. The corolla (which I actually got to test drive) had good acceleration, good turning radius, good heater, it’s a smooth ride, and it comes with 6 CD player in it. I really liked how it felt. I had just driven my mom’s sienna to the dealership, and I hate driving that car. It’s so wide that it makes it more difficult to drive. My dad’s MDX is smaller, but still an SUV. This car was a lot easier to drive, and I felt really comfortable. My mom said that I did an excellent job of driving it. Well, I think this is quite long enough for an entry, so I shall leave you at that. |
