Thanks for the comments. I guess this will be my last night in this house. Tomorrow I'll still be here working but tomorrow evening I'll be moving to a hotel here in town with all the pets. Laterz.

I'll be going off the air on Monday I guess when I pack up the computer. We'll be leaving on Wednesday the 14th for Texas and hope to get to Austin on Sunday the 18th. The moving men will arrive with all our stuff between Monday the 19th and Saturday the 24th so I'm not sure when I'll be back in Xangaville. I've been working hard for days. I finished my bedroom and the living room and today we started on the kitchen. I put Marcel into his travel crabitat (which is a lot smaller than his regular crabitat) and we also have the Blue Conure in his smaller travel cage. We still have to put the African Grey into her travel cage.

I miss my lovely ballerinas. I had a feeling I would. I did see one of my favorite movies tonight called 'Play It As It Lays' with Tuesday Weld and Tony Perkins and Tammy Grimes. I saw this movie when it first came out and it made a big impression on me.

Busy packing. Eating lots of junk food.  I don't usually watch Oprah but last night she had on Cher and Tina Turner. It was from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where Cher is performing for the next 3 years. Cher is 61 and Tina is 68. They sang separately and then a little duet. Cher used to live with Tom Cruise in Tom's apartment. (before he was a big star) She also had to pay Sonny Bono 2 million dollars after their divorce. Of course Sonny was a heartless Republican. I have to get back to work.

A couple of new photos. A bunny on the lawn (with a piece of apple I gave it) and a tiny dreamer. I was folding my laundry and that made Tiny tired.

Today we went to Woodland to pick up the rental car for the trip. It's a brand new Honda Odyssey minivan. It's really spacious inside and sort of luxurious. (at least for us) I think there's going to be plenty of room for us all. I packed away my MSNTV today so I won't be on the Internet as much as usual. Only the computer in the dining room. I just wanted to get it packed so I wouldn't have to think about it. I don't know how we're going to have everything done by next week. I think we're moving us and the pets into a Davis hotel on Monday and the moving men are coming on Tuesday morning and then we're leaving for LA on Wednesday. I may be a day off, it's confusing. I have to rest now. I won't say the 'P' word.

Going through tons of books in the garage sister found an autographed copy of 'Howl and Other Poems' by Allen Ginsberg. It's a little paperback published by City Lights Books in San Francisco. Also a huge book called 'Nureyev, His Life' by Diane Solway. I can't wait to get into that, I want to know every detail of his life.

Tomorrow we're going to Woodland to pick up the minivan for our trip. I hope it's big enough. We're waiting for some travel parrot cages to get here in the mail. I took down the curtains in my bedroom. ugh, it's so barren in here now. Today I walked through the 'Rite Aid' store twice looking for those little hand-wash thingies that are good for cleaning hands away from home. They were with the paper plates and napkins. No wonder I couldn't find them. I did a thousand things today but I feel like I got very little done.

The movie 'Annie Hall' was on twice today and between the two I think I saw the whole movie. I've seen it a million times. In a lot of Woody Allen movies I like certain scenes and I can watch them over and over. Like in the movie 'Hannah and Her Sister' there's a scene where the sisters are having lunch in a restaurant and the camera circles the table slowing as each of them are talking. It's fascinating to watch. Lots of scenes in a lot of his movies are perfect.
