Dear Xanga,

I miss you.

Yea, it's official that my junior year & a daily Xanga entry aren't working.
So I will at least do my best to keep updating weekly.
Lots has been going on since the days of Pearce Homecoming.

Laughing Stock rehearsals take over most of my afternoons & early evenings. We open on October 19th and there's definently work to be done, but I know it will come off swell and I have a couple of funny parts.

On Thursday, we had our first Cappies show at Booker T. Ryan drove Elizabeth & I. We had to leave Pearce at 4:45, so it was an all afternoon event. It was fun, the play- Inherit the Wind- was really good. Although I didn't get home til around 11.

Friday, I took 1st, 2nd & 3rd period off, I was so stressed because of my AP History test, AP Physics test, & PreCal Test with all that Cappies stuff, so I went to school at 4th period and then I took my History test in 5th, but after that I left & went home because I was stressed/sick.

This past weekend was a 3-day weekend in honor of Fair Day, ha. And I have to say..there's nothing better than a long weekend.
We played West Mesquite on Friday & lost, but the game was fun. I'm having fun being an Escort, which is good, because it consumes your Friday nights. After the game, I went to Sonic with Beth, Caren, Emma, Hwa, Chandler & Marjorie.
Saturday was greatness because I slept in & I also bought a tie for homecoming with Gretchen at NorthPark. I stopped by Beaucoup to visit Lisa & Kathryn.

And then RHS Homecoming- it was really fun! It started off kind of stressful because I got ready in 15 minutes, went to the wrong hotel for pictures, was late to pictures, had to leave my car parked at the Galleria, etc. BUT it ended up being a really fun night, as I knew it would be. It was good hanging out with Emily again! She looked great & we had a good time. Our party bus driver was not very good at driving. Dinner at Blue Mesa was good & the dance was fun, just seeing people from Pearce & North and meeting some RHS kids. I had fun with the group. Our after party was fun, we mostly hung out in a tent outside & then we watched a movie inside. Funny story is that Sarah, Elizabeth & Michael Judd picked me up from the party at around 3AM. I was planning on spending the night, but they were up & I figured why not spend the night in my own bed, so they did that & it was really nice.

On Sunday, I wrote my Cappies review & submitted that, my dad & I picked up my car from the Galleria & we went to Chili's. Then I met Sarah & JJ at Celebrity Bakery to see them. After, JJ & I went and got our cars washed. I came home & Morgan and Kathryn came over. We went to one of the self washers to wash Morgan's Tahoe with Maggie, that was fun. After, we got Sonic & came to my house to watch Tivo.

Sunday night I went to the State Fair with Morgan, Kathryn, Bertrand, Morgan Myer, & JJ. I drove us down to Cityplace/ West Village, then we took the Dart. We had some fun times, like Kathryn, Bertrand & MM stepping in the mud, the lady singing "Let's Stay Together", just fun. The Fair was fun, we met Trevor Gitlin, Evan Schutza & Andrew Michell. We tried Fried Coke & had other good American food. I rode the Ferris Wheel with MW, Bertrand & JJ. Bert, Morgan & I grinded at the top to Bertrand's beat, that was greatness. After the fair, we went to 711 then I took everyone home, that was a great time!!

Why hello inactive Xanga.
Today marks the end of a great week & an incredible long weekend, which leads into the amazing week of Homecoming.
I guess I'll recap my week for you!

Wednesday: We had play rehearsal & I distinctly remember it being less entertaining than usual. That's about it.

Thursday: We had a pep rally at school, it was fun! Because I love pep rally's. After school, I met with Todd at the YL office for like an hour. It was a sweet time, then I went to Pearce for escort festivities. Pearce played RHS & completely crushed them. 50-3, I believe. After the game,  I went to Sonic with Hwa, Chandler, Emma, Eric & Tyler. It was fun, I should of been home studying but oh well.

Friday: That evening, I went to BJ's with my mom for some grub, then I drove back to Richardson & couldn't find anything to do, so I drove around! Then JJ, Morgan Myer & Elizabeth met me at Starbucks! That was fun, then we went to the Bowie playground, then back to Elizabeth's to play Henry! Which is a really fun game!

Saturday: I went to DFW Airport to volunteer for YMSL to Meet the Troops, it was festive & patriotic. Gamma worked the store for my mom! Then I went & got a haircut in Lewisville that was much needed. Gretchen & I went to shop for Spirit Week! We went to Pandemonium & Buffalo Exchange! We both got some stuff, after our Downtown adventure, we met Elizabeth, Morgan Myer, & Reagan at Pei Wei but they were leaving, so Gretch & I got food at Sonic, then met them at Reagan's where Chris had joined us! We had fun at Reagan's! We played games, then roasted marshmallows. Afton, Natalie Donaldson, Chandler & Daniel came for a while! Elizabeth, Gretchen & I left around 1AM!

Sunday: Well, I didn't go to church , but that's okay! I slept in a bit. Kathryn & I went to a Homecoming meeting at like 3 or something. It was fine, Homecoming is so unnecessarily stressful/ overdone. But our group will be fun! After the meeting, we went to pick up my Mum at the Mum Shop. Then we went to Michael's, we came back to my house & worked on Kathryn's garter. We met JJ & Elizabeth at Mi Cocina for dinner! It was great, then we drove downtown to West Village for gelato, before seeing TAPE, a play directed by Bryan Lewis down at SMU. The play was very good & we all enjoyed it very much! Jamie Cohen & Brett were there seeing it.

Action of the night...
Actor on stage begins to snort cocaine, Elizabeth looks at JJ, worried she's offended or uneasy. JJ is watching the play happily, with a big smile on her face!

After the show, we drove back to Richardson, grabbed some Starbucks, then went to Elizabeth's where we watched High School Musical til around 2AM.

Monday: I love 3-day weekends! JJ, Gretchen, Elizabeth, Will & I got a nice & early start on some Spirit Week vintage shopping. We went to  the Treasure Box, renamed Dallas Vintage Shop, which is always fun. After, we went to Potbelly, then Will left & the rest of us journeyed to NorthPark, Ahab Bowen, and then Party City. I didn't buy anything but it was very fun! Let's see...oh yes! After our adventures, Elizabeth & I had play rehearsal, which was at first quite dramatic because Zed wasn't there, well first, Elizabeth & I were running late because we stopped at Party City. Anyway, everyone had left because Ms. Shaw wasn't there & then Elizabeth called her and she said she was on her way, so get everyone back. Hahah, it was pretty funny. ALSO! Emily DeVoll called & invited me to RHS Homecoming!!

WELL IT WAS ONE GREAT WEEKEND!
