so the official news, as some of you know and others have probably guessed is..... i am blessed beyond belief to be in a relationship to be a blessing to an amazing young woman.  her name is rhonda.  and the Lord has taken us each through a pretty crazy last few months..

she is super patient and gracious and forgiving and fun and weird (in a great way) and she just makes me think about Jesus more.  and God has been really gracious to me in causing me to value what He values in her, not just her bells and whistles (of which there are many :)).  she is a woman with eternal worth and with each passing day i just get more and more excited to serve, encourage, and show grace to her.

there has been a small hitch in the plan though.  i still have a month left on the dating fast i started five months ago.  circumstances led to a decision having to be made on my part before the time was up, but i still feel convicted to finish the fast.  and at first i was really confused and not so into that.  but God has been really good about showing me how fruitful this last month can be.  so what does this time look like? great question.  well it looks like rhonda and i not spending any one on one time together and also limiting other types of communication.  for what purpose? another great question.  one, so that i would fulfill the vow i made to the Lord.  and secondly, it really does give us both some great time to pray and prepare and seek Gods leading for what a gospel-centered relationship should look like. 

so.. im excited!  and im excited to share this news with my weblogging community :)  thanks for reading and pray for me.. her... us!
