LAYOUT. Together
I found this image yesterday (?) and knew I had to make a layout out of it. It was just too beautiful. It's romantic without being mushy, and the artwork is gorgeous. I just love the expression on the girl's face. Ahh, now I'm getting all gooey. Not good.
Anyway, the way the image was set up with the module and blogspace was an idea I got from the layout Sakura Drop by Hikaru of Reminisce Designs. Very close, but not quite. I used a lot of brushes over the main image, but then I really faded them a lot so that they didn't stand out too much and look weird. Maybe I faded them too much. Oh well.
My computer has problems. *whacks computer* I finally got it to work relatively normally, but it's still pretty messed up. Keeps freezing on me. So it took me a really long time to make and code this. I was debating whether or not to make extras, but I finally went "What the hell -- if it freezes on me, it'll freeze on me. I'll just throw it in the river when I'm done with this." 'Course, I couldn't actually do that because it's not really my computer.... the whole family uses it, and if I really did throw it in the river, I would have to suffer unbearable torture for the next few centuries or so.
And yeah, that's my rant for the day. Please enjoy.
Credits for the icon border brushes go to Aethereality.net (which no longer works on my screwed up computer). I was in a good mood today, so you've got lots to choose from below, as well as the one at the top of the post. Right click >> save picture as if you'd like to use them.
