well tonight was the kick off for a jr/sr girls Bible study we're doing for the next twelve weeks, reading the book "captivating"
im really excited, we read the intro to the book tonight and it really speaks to every girl's heart. and we made journals, which was amusing... and takes awhile when you rip the cover off and start all over again, haha

but all jr. sr. girls who didnt go to the kickoff tonight need to come on tuesday! its at susan hissins house, which is extremely close to the school. and its going to be amazing so come.

i want to go shopping very badly. but im on a spending freeze, so anyone who cares to take me shopping feel free to do so, all you have to do is fund the trip and you get to spend an incredible day with me! hahaha

and oh man i cant wait for christmas. gradually over the past week ive gotten more and more excited about christmas, and i dont know why. but hotgluing journals tonight reminded me even more of making christmas orniments when i was younger, and yeah i cant wait. christmas lights, decorations, candels, trees, cold weather, christmas songs. i love it.

back in town. yaaaaay home.

my whole family went to arizona for the weekend, to visit my uncle mike. it was a really good trip... aside from the fact we visited being he is dying from ALS. which is a degenerative disease, ultimately killing the nerve endings. he was diagnosed a month ago, and generally those diagnosed had 2-5 years to live. unfortunately, the doctors said he has the most aggresive case theyve ever seen so he doesnt have much time left. and it was heartbreaking to see our hilarious/vivacious uncle barely able to speak because the nerve endings in his throat are dying..so please keep him and his family in prayer... for peace in their lives and for their kids who have to watch their dad deteriorate...

but on a lighter note, our cousin tiffany who had awesome hair made hannahs hair look awesome too. short and spikey/wild. so i felt like the loser with my long boring blonde hair. almost cut it, but didnt... and we did a small amount of shopping. i got a TH school shirt and some bcbg perfume.. thrilling. but i still have quite the shopping list to conquer before school starts

haha, oh and lindy- we stayed on the military base, and no worries.. there are still plenty of extremely goodlooking young guys in uniform.. i didnt mind staying on that base one bit. hahaha

gaaah i hate the airport though. hate hate hate it.
being that my dad is a pilot we fly for free. awesome right? NOT. we also get bumped to later flights for free because passangers have priority when other flights are cancled. seven hours in the airport, seven. with nothing beter to do then read magazines. tons of them. so i am now an expert on clothes, hair, boys, and shoes. hahaha. but i did find out "my type of guy" is a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. defenitely somthing ill need to know for the future. lol...
and another highlight of the airport is odd people.. liiiiike people who take obvious pictures of you with their camera phone, knowing you see them. who does that? weird.

aaaand im almost excited for the school year. aside form needing to work extremely hard to get good grades... but yeah, see you all saturday night becaues everyone should go to the jr sr party!
