The Puzzle of Ethics

The Puzzle of Ethics

上次做節目時準備了六條來自Peter Vardy 所著The Puzzle of Ethics>有關傳媒道德的延伸問題,惜因時間不足無法讀出,現輯錄如下:

1)      Is it ever acceptable for media people deliberately to deceive a potential source of information about their professional identity or intentions?

2)      Is it ever acceptable to steal documents, photo, or other material from a source or to copy them without first asking permission?

3)      Is it ever acceptable to stage or re-create an event without telling the audience?

4)      Is it ever acceptable for media people to accept gifts, tickets or other freebies?

5)      Is it ever acceptable for media people to seek or give special treatment for themselves, their families, or causes their favour?

6)      Finally, is it ever acceptable for media people to violate laws, including speeding and parking laws? Are they bove?them?
