  • Le Sigh...

It never works when I try and it never works when I don't try.

But in the end, I still believe that things should be effortless. Like the push of a tailwind moving things along, when things are meant to be all the right elements just fall into place. I've seen it happen.

For some people, it happens repeatedly and continuously. For others, it only happens ocassionally or may only be a once in a lifetime occurence. But it does happen.

Everything happens for a reason. But the reason, who really knows and who really needs to know.

  • Love It... !

This song is brilliant! It's especially amusing that Lily Allen can be so happy go-lucky even when she's seriously dissing somebody. Wish it came out earlier though. It could've been the national anthem for these past 8 years.

  • I'd Rather Be Singing...

Than waiting for the long weekend to come. Just one more day until the Fourth of July weekend!

No plans are the best plans for me as I'm too lazy and tired for action-packed social calendars. Since there isn't much that's interesting to me in the theaters as of late, I will likely spend my time catching up on sleep, spending time with family and friends and some nice down time with all the new books and DVDs that I've acquired recently. I also have a stack of travel books
about Argentina and London from the library that are about to be overdue. Online renewals!

This short week has got me in a good mood. I just recorded this 10 minutes ago. Maybe I should round up my peeps for some karaoke this weekend?

  • Two Steps Forward and a Few Steps Back...

Read about a government scandal in China involving murder, possible suicide, rape, use of violence by the police and media censorship here: "Thousands in Southwester China Riot Over Alleged Coverup."

Things like this are so complex, disheartening and discouraging. I don't think I could ever adequately put into words my thoughts on it and make sense at the same time. Le sigh...
