Day 18:

Wow!  What a weekend and week it has been so far!!  The worst of my class is over, and I am really proud of myself for accomlishing all that I did.  The real test will come this week.  My goal is to get like a million things done by Sunday and then take MOnday off to rest and relax before the Spring semester starts the next day!!

About the reliv product.  Still taking it religously.  Not to gross anyone out, but my pee looks radioactive.  I'm not sure if that is good.

A friend mentioned that it is possible to overdose on vitamin products.  So is there any validity to this claim?

How much is too much?
Existing European guidelines specify the recommended daily amount of vitamins or minerals that adults need to maintain health and prevent deficiencies. These guidelines are known as the recommended daily allowance or RDA.

Often, dietary supplements are available in amounts close to 100 per cent of their RDAs. However, some are sold in high or megadoses of the RDAs, and it's these high dose supplements that can pose problems if taken over a long period of time.

I am currently looking into more research and how this compares with the Reliv product.  I will also be consulting my doctor.

More to come...

Day 12:

Last night I worked out really hard.  I've been going pretty non-stop since Monday morning.  Tomorrow will be no exception even though I'm taking a day off of work.  I'm working towards completing my winter class term paper this weekend.  Tonight I will rest after this long night of class.

I have been taking the Reliv product religously once in the morning and then once in the afternoon.  I am begining to see a real difference in a few areas.

1) anxiety level - normally at a stressful time like this I would be a wreck.  I am not 100% right now,  but 90% isn't bad considering.

2) Sleep - I have had several occasions in the last week where I have remembered my dreams vividly and clearly...this usually only happens once every few months.  This is noteable because this usually implies a more productive sleep cycle and that my brain is repairing itself in my sleep...which in turns can help concentration and ultimately serotonin levels.

3) Little to no caffiene intake, but so far no naps this week!!  Really hard to believe with the stress I'm under with this class.

In any case, I give all glory to Whom it is do - the Creator of all things, and giver of every good and perfect gift.  The God of the Bible.

Psalm 115

1 Not to us, O LORD, not to us
but to your name be the glory,
because of your love and faithfulness.

Day 9:

Today I am just a little bit sleepy but considering the amount of sleep I've had in the last two days I'm doing great.  I have a small headache due to lack of sleep as well.  Normally under conidtions like these, I would be wiped out.  I need my sleep.  This week is a big week - tons to do and I will need my rest tonight for sure.  Even though I am a bit sleepy, I have a good amount of energy.  No caffiene!!  Yea!!!

Day 6:

I took a nap later yesterday afternoon.  Class ended early so I stayed in my office to get some research done.  I stayed up rather late contemplating the realities of my life.  Therefore, I took some vacation time this morning and slept in.  I woke up with a sinus headache that is just now starting to go away.  I am just now waking up really and it is 11:53am.  I can feel the stress in my neck and shoulders and will be running this evening to try and relieve it some.  Now that I am waking up I am in a pretty good mood and I feel like this could be a very productive day and weekend in fact.

Day 5:

So I didn't make it through yesterday without a nap.  In fact, I took a nap during lunch and then went home early from work (i have vacation days to take) and slept for several hours.  I got up after that and managed to squeeze in 30 minutes of cardio and some homework, and some bible study.  I got about 6 hours of sleep last night.  Today I have a big day ahead and I am stressed about my homework and just everything I have on my plate.  Lots of exciting stuff, so it will be interesting to see how my reliv effects things if at all.  So far, I feel a bit better overall, my mind is a bit clearer and I have a bit more energy already.
