| USANEW STUFF from the USA I got a few cars from friends that like to help me out. MOTORSPORTS AUTHENTICS First is this 1:87 scale 08 WINNER'S CIRCLE TONY STEWART 20 NASCAR CAMRY that a friend gave to me as a gift at this years All Toyotafest. He picked this up at a Target department store.
HOT WHEELS Another one of my friends picked up this 08 HOT WHEEL STARS - PIKES PEAK CELICA in red for me (M6990-0718 088/172). This car is available now at most retailers, but I've never seen one in any store - sometimes, it's all in the timing!
Sometimes I don't know what I'd do without my fellow collecting friends - thanks to their help I don't have to always visit the toy and department stores! * * *
| NEW STUFFNEW STUFF that's not so new Here is a cool little item that I received about a week ago. This is a set from TAKARA TOMY that was made for the Takara Tomy Stockholders Meeting of 2006. The green Tomica is a Toyota Prius.

* * * Yesterday was a Hot Wheels show that takes place once a month at a local establishment called the Rack & Cue. One of the sellers had a few Toyota cars including this Matchbox Superfast Lasers Toyota MR2 (LW-22). It's from around 1986. The price for this car was $5. I'm not familiar with the line, but I thought it was a fair deal (at least I hope so).
He also had this Matchbox Superfast Toyota Supra #30 in chrome finish. This car is from around 1996, and the price was $3.

| HOT WHEELSHOT WHEELS COLLECTORS WEBSITE UPDATE
The Hot Wheels Collectors website has undergone a recent facelift and is much easier to use and nicer to navigate. Even though I didn't visit often, the old site was a pain in the trunk! One feature that underwent a major overhaul was the Hot Wheels Collection Checklist (complete news HERE). It is now the Hot Wheels Casting Database, and it is a hundred times better than the old setup. I ran a search for Toyota and came up with 74 results! FYI - Lexus came back with 22 results, and Scion had 4. Some neat features are the ability to sort the list by category - just click the category name at the top of a column. Thats a great way to see things by Year, Name, Wheel, etc. The only drawback is that while you can print out the page, you cannot use the checklist features unless you are a Red Line Club member. Aside from that, this is a terrific way to keep track of all the cars that are out there! * * *
| CalendarsNEW STUFF from JAPAN Continuing with a few more items that I received while in Japan... CALENDARS First is this calendar that Agent Y was able to obtain for me. TOYOTA Motor Sports Calendar 2008 The evolution of "TOYOTA FORMULA 1 TEAM"
