| | Did much better in this storm than Frances...only lost power for 2 days! The beach did not fair so well. Tree stumps, whole trees, all the trash in the ocean, and some pieces of washed away houses litter the beach. I saw a lot more washed out turtle nests this storm. The storm rearranged the beach quite a bit. I've noticed that 2 streets up we have a new sandbar, what little swell was left allowed me to glimpse in to the future at a new break. Now we need a swell that I can surf. (updated my profile pic) Hope to post some writing soon. |
