hey Merv....guess what? i rec'd a few gift cards for a running store in Toronto for my birthday, so I bought a HRM, and I think it's the same model as yours. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet (I left it in HK) but I'm looking forward to breaking it in in a couple weeks....trying to swim and will be running too here in Oz. Our friend gave us a pass to his pool/gym, and his apartment complex has a 25m pool so that's perfect for me. :D happy training bud!
