My best friend recently got engaged.  I'm so thrilled she asked me to be her matron of honour (oh geez, that sounds so old)!  But I'm also really nervous because I've never done this kind of stuff before.  Besides nerves, a big problem is that I live in Boston while she's back home in Toronto.  On top of that, one of her 2 bridesmaids lives in Germany.  So she's left with only 1 helper.  I plan on going back a few times before the wedding to help out with whatever I can.  Do you girls/guys have any suggestions on what an out-of-town MOH can do to help out the bride and groom-to-be?   Much appreciated!

"Was it possible for a dog...to point humans to the things that really mattered in life?  I believed it was.  Loyalty.  Courage. Devotion. Simplicity. Joy. And the things that did not matter, too.   A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes.  Status symbols mean nothing to him. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog judges others not by their color or creed or class but by who they are inside. A dog doesn't care if you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, clever or dull. give him your heart and he will give you his.  It was really quite simple, and yet we humans, so much wiser and more sophisticated, have always had trouble figuring out what really counts and what does not....Sometimes it took a dog with bad breath, worse manners, and pure intentions to help us see."

My recycling bin was either stolen by a neighbour or had blown away a couple of weeks ago.  On Monday, I saw a recycling bin (not mine because it was different looking) blowing around in the middle of the street.  The next day, someone put it at the corner of the street beside the street sign (public area).   Two days later,  I see that it's still unclaimed.  So I took it home with me after work after checking that there was no address on it.

Do you think what I did is considered theft??  Please help!
