Funny thing.
Our school is adding another floor to our library and took off the roof to add the additional floors.... but it also happens to be rainy season here and thus, the weather decided to pour before the constructionists could put some kind of covering on the big gaping hole above us..

but alas, the whole entire library is musky with human sweat and nasty mold growing everywhere. The ceiling is also falling apart and dropping on unsuspecting students. T.T

anyways, goooo midterms week and spending endless hours in the library!

Where is the world is Carmen Sandiego??? anyone play that game way back in the day?

hmm, well anyways. i have been cooped up in korea.. well a university somewhere in korea. i would describe it as a pseudo-america-korea because of the amount of english i use here compared to korean, but none-the-less i have been in korea for the last three months.

where in korea? the largest port in south korea, Po Hang. it happens to host the largest steel mill in the world, posco. its so big it looks like a small city. i'll take a picture of it before i leave.

anyways, what university? Handong Global University, a supposedly global university based on christian principals and etc. its located deep within the mountains of pohang guarding the unsuspecting students from evildooers in the city. but likewise, it keeps the evil handong students from going to bother the unsuspecting city denizens on the whim. in fact, it take about 30 mins to get to pohang downtown by bus.

handong consists of approximately 3500 unfortunate undergraduate students and requires them to undertake a double major before graduating.

that is where i live. i donno if you guys can see, but we have bars on the windows of the first floor to keep us from escaping during the night, adding the prison-like ambience. notice the second, third, and fourth floors don't have bars, daring us to jump onto the uneven ground and break our ankles.
the rooms are big tho.

this is HGU (handong global university) square where no one is permitted to smoke, kiss, have sex, hold hands, spits, look someone in the eyes, breathe, jump, have sinful thoughts, run. jp, just the first three.


these are two of the three handong dogs, they are a sort of mascot at handong.


here you can see the two of four basketball courts and a small portion of the soccer field. and the background, those big red buildings are sweat shops, naw those are my classrooms.. which are in a way like sweat shops.


this is our cafeteria where they feed us poison. haha, just kidding.. they feed us crap, thus its known as the "crap"eteria. it looks really cool tho.

hmm, yea. thats about all there is to handong global university in my opinion... hmm? pictures of me? hah, i have none! soorry

yea. well in the end, i may bag on my school a lot, but i like it just fine. its small. its ghetto. but its home for now.
