I just wanted to give you an update on where we are at with our summer recruiting efforts.

After getting off to a really slow start (seriously, the application were just trickling in) we sent out the request for prayer for our recruiting and hiring efforts.  Ever since that request went out we have seen a big increase in our applications coming in.  Therefore let me first offer my thanks and praise to the Lord for His ever faithfulness in answering prayer and supporting the summer ministry at Camp Arnold.

Though we are still a little behind where we usually are at this point (please continue to pray), we are getting there and have every confidence and belief that we will get every staff member we need.  So that you can pray and recruit on our behalf more effectively, I thought I would give you the specifics of what we are still in need of (in no specific order).

Craft director, dining room hostess, crew chief, archery instructor, one boy and one girl unit leader, life guards, boy and girl counselors, one day camp male counselor, one or two waitresses and a few maintenance spots.

Thanks for your prayers and recruiting efforts thus far and please continue to lift our summer program up in prayer (both staff and campers) and remember to spread the word to any family/friends who you think would do well at Camp Arnold this summer.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to update a few things!

Camp Arnold has a new domain name, tsacamparnold.org.  Applications and reference forms are available online via pdf, the online application should be available soon.   

I just spent a few days at a Camp Directors conference for The Salvation Army camps of the west.  It was a good time of learning, sharing, worship and prayer with each other.  Please remember to pray not only for Camp Arnold but for all The Salvation Army camps during the time of recruiting that's going on right now.
