Well I've finished my first week here at the Rock. Things are going pretty well, I really haven't meet that many ppl but that comes with time. As you probably know I'm not always the most out going person. But with time I get good friends so its all cool. I now have 19 credits. I picked up a 4 credit general chemistry course to fullfill one of the classes I need for PT school. That will be interesting since I'm not a real big chem. person. I may have to get some tutoring but so long as I pass with a good grade i'll be happy. Now that my bro actually has a camera I may someday here in the future post some pictures on here. Yea that will be an exciting first

  • Well I just got out of my first class here at SRU. Well we actually just talked about the course and stuff but oh well. It is an aquadics class so I think I might have a little trouble in it since i'm not much of a diver and such. But it should be fun and hopefully i'll get a good grade in it. I really like Slippery Rock so far. It seems pretty cool. I really love the rec center. It's REALLY nice. It's got a like a climbing wall  and work out stuff a pool and bball courts....oh yea!

Well I just got back from our vacation at the shore. It was a fun time. Unfortunatly we didn't really have a day with big waves. Oh well what can you do? Now it's just a count down to when I head up to school. My summer is coming to an abrupt close. Oh well it was a good summer. I'm actually kind of looking forward to this coming year. Things will be different but i'm anxious to see what all is in store for me.

  • Hey everybody I'm back from my trip to Japan. We had an amazing time while we were there. This will be short cuz I dont' really feel like writing a lot right now plus no one likes to read long posts : P anyway in the mornings we worked on building a house and then in the afternoons we did either bball clinics or we played games against different Japanese teams. The clinics were interesting because we had to use an interpreter or try to use sign language to tell the kids what to do. It was fun. I must say i got pretty proficient at using guestures to comunicate. A sad reflection of our american culture came to light while we were doing these clinics. The Japanese kids listen better than the American kids do, and we didn't even speak the same language. We had some really good food while we were there. And i learned to eat w/ chop sticks. One afternoon we went cliff jumping. It was in this gorge (sp?) the first cliff we were jumping off of was probably only 20 feet high. But then we went to this bridge that was like 30 feet high and jumped off of that into the water. I must admit it was a little frightening, but it was a lot of fun. Every night we went to what is called a yonsen. It is kind of like the equivalent to a hamam. Yonsens are volcanic baths. the water is heated by really deep in the earth and these baths pull that water to the surface and it is supposed to be really good for you. I will say though it was very relaxing. I'll just say it was amazing. Well this is getting long enough. If you want more details you'll have to email me and ask your questions.
