    It's a tight race.

    1. Paula had him sing, And So It Goes, which he did beautifully
    2. He chose to sing With You, which was a fun risk
    3. Producers had him sing Longer, done tenderly

    1. Randy had her sing If I Ain't Got You, which she did relatively well
    2. She chose to sing Fever, which she did very Broadway/cabaret
    3. Producers had her sing Hit Me Up, and she was kind of all over the place

    1. Simon had him sing First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, wow!
    2. He chose to sing Dare Ya To Move, which he didn't nail
    3. Producers had him sing

    Also can't believe the last girl is Syesha!

    David C:  Hungry Like The Wolf, sort of a let down for him
    Baba O'Reilly ("teenage wasteland"), better but boring
    Maybe he got cocky, but he seemed too relaxed this week, which shouldda been his!

    Syesha: Proud Mary, pretty good
    A Change is Gonna Come, she is coming into her own
    She sure is surpassing how well I thought she'd do. She has a chance of winning, esp. since it's so unpredictable.

    Jason:  I Shot the Sheriff, oh puhlease
    Mr. Tamborine Man, he forgot some words...
    Simon's right, he needs to pack to go home; but he's been saved so many times, I bet it's confusing for him.

    David A:  Stand By Me, excellent
    Love Me Tender, very sweet and tender
    He is so sweet and talented, but lacks confidence, even though it's nice he's humble...

  • Balance Pt. 2: The Square

    Now take the most ambivalent phrase and look at both sides:

    I’m drawn to feeling the

    emptiness of my miserable life:

    ~because it’s such a scary realization that underneath years of relationship/love addiction drama, was this empty, empty place

    ~because it’s a feeling of self-pity, there’s a self-indulgence to it, I can justify continuing to isolate

     

    I’m afraid of feeling the

    emptiness of my miserable life:

    ~because I worry that depression is bleaching my whole personality and character out of me

    ~because it’s like circling the drain, what if it only gets worse?

     

    I’m drawn to thinking my life is a

    blank slate with beautiful bones:

    ~because it opens up the ability to visualize, to use law of attraction, to be excited about what might come next in my life, to recreate myself or find myself again

     

    I’m afraid of thinking my life is a

    blank slate with beautiful bones:

    ~what if I can’t paint? What if I never reach my potential?
