Here's a good idea of what we've accomplished so far.  I honestly believe we have kicked ass.  All the boxes are unpacked.  Of course, I am ready to collapse, but it's worth it.  I feel totally at home in my new home.

house-7Nick's Room.  Those are Pokemon decals on the wall, plus my trash picked bed, that I painted.

house-6Jack's room.  It's Sports Themed.

house-5Part of the Sun Room.  The other side has their computer and all of their toys.

house-4The Guest Room.  I hung wallpaper border today with lighthouses and ocean.

house-3The den.  The sofa and loveseat are facing the TV.  I hate the paneling.  It will get painted eventually.

house-2My office space.  This is what is supposed to be the Dining Room.  The sliding door leads to the deck.

house-1The Dining Room, which is supposed to be the Living Room.  I took this from the top of the stairs.

That's Jack at the bottom.  He wanted to be in the picture

There is no shot of our bedroom.  It is still sort of a mess.  Eventually, I'll get around to showing it.

Michael leaves for Chicago tomorrow.  I am glad we're basically unpacked.  Otherwise, I'd kill myself while he was gone.

Well, we're in the new house.  I am busy unpacking, unloading, painting and decorating.  Once the cable guy leaves today, there will be no more interruptions.  I am taking a Xanga writing break, but not reading.  Be back soon...

Well, it's done.  We sold the house.  We have a huge check, and we'll spend most of it on Monday, when we settle on the new house.  The move was good.  A little stressful.  It took the movers longer than they thought, and they needed to call for the pickup truck from the owner.  Apparently, we have too much crap. Go figure!!

So, now we're on way to my parents' house at the shore.  Literally.  Michael has a satellite internet card, so I am using his laptop.  It is way too cool.  I was able to check my email, play scrabble, and come here.  And it holds my attention, so I don't watch the road and panic at the way he drives.

So, now, onto a relaxing weekend, and then all hell will break loose next week, and we start unpacking the hundreds of boxes that will come into our new home,

The movers come in 2 days.  I am surrounded by boxes.  ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless my sister, she is taking the boys overnight tomorrow so I can finish packing their room and so I don't have to worry about them while the movers are loading our stuff.  We are also going to hang out there on Thursday, so I don't have to spend a lot of time with my MIL.  My sister is a saint.

Michael left pissed off this morning.  He was annoyed at the boys for getting up at 5 am, and apparently fighting all morning.  He left without a goodbye or a kiss to any of us.  I used to get really upset/scared when this happened.  Now, I just move on.  He'll get over it.  I know I didn't do anything to cause it, so there's no point in worrying about it.

Today is the boys' last day of school.  They are beyond excited.  I am too.  The new chapter of our life is about to begin.

I have one of those headaches that make me nauseous and want to throw up.  It started last night.  I slept through the whole night, and I woke up this morning and it was 100X worse.  I am trying everything.  Ibuprofen.  Coffee/caffeine.  More sleep.  It's fading, but not fast enough for my taste.  I should be okay, I hope, in an hour or so.

I am almost totally packed, which is a good thing, since the movers are coming in less than a week.  My sister gave me all kinds of paper goods, so I can pack up my kitchen dishes this weekend.  Just some toys, clothes and books, and that's about it.  I am so ready to get outta here!!!
