  • Hello y'all!  Just wanted to say I'm still alive and kicking over here.    Things are staying busy but not too overly interesting - hence, no posts.

The latest news is I'm now signed up for EMT classes this fall and start the end of August.  It'll be interesting working full-time and having classes every night!  You can pray it all goes smoothly and there aren't too many scheduling problems.

I got some cool new wheels/tires for my car and I'm thinking about painting the calibrater's red, what do you think?

And here's me and melody.   :)

  • Well peoples, as of tonight THIS:

.........is sitting in his driveway.    Its a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R, 6-speed manual, 72k miles, great gas mileage, and all for a great price!  I'm so proud of him!      He had a lot of fun (or something) buying it, and walked out with a great deal - woohoo!  Its definitely a sports car with black and red interior and a sun roof and spoiler to boot.

Stephen is cleaning his bathroom at the current moment.

Stephen is staying busy with work.

Stephen is happy visiting Temple, and a certain girl.

Stephen was there on Saturday/Sunday for her birthday.

Stephen will be going back on Friday and staying for the weekend.

Until then, Stephen will be working and sleeping.

  • Hi, Melody here.  Stephen's currently out with some friends watching POTC3, and yes I wish I were there.    But I'm here, far away, listening to the rain fall and sitting at the computer - which happens to be pretty nice.  Just not as nice as being with him.  :)

He says to let you know things are really frustrating at work right now.  It seems like every job he's on are NOT WORKING - there ends up being deeper problems that he can't do anything about.  So he goes to a job, works hard and then ends up sitting in front of a computer for hours waiting for a little green light to come on - which doesn't ever seem to want to happen.  Its frustrating for him because he loves finishing a job...and he doesn't like leaving the customers house and them not be happy. Also, it seems like some people just don't give a care HOW they install people's service, and so when he gets called in for a repair (no wonder) sometimes he ends up having to basically RE-install the whole thing due to sloppy original work.  I guess, what gets me, is I'm used to people doing their best, and people just don't seem to care these days.  They do as little as they can get by with...  Grr!  What happened to a job well done?

He's also working an awful lot and never seems to have time to do anything extra.    Work, work, work, sleep, talk, work, work, work.  Most days he works several hours overtime and usually works 8-14 hours a day.  He's supposed to get off at 4:15 but that NEVER happens.

Lately he's had a new guy working with him, and to me, that's cool.    It seems like but a little time ago that Stephen was going out on rides with a "seasoned" guy.  Now Stephen's the guy having other people with him.    Anyway, amidst the complains, he still loves his job, and is blessed to have work that he normally enjoys.

Now....MY opinion is that this blog needs a face-lift, what-ho?      Suggestions?
