oh yeah, I still have a xanga...

FS: I have a degree, a flexible job, a steady (but not boring) living situation and a tour schedule.

The DNC gets a compositional critique.

I'm living in Berkeley CA right now on friends' couches, more-or-less part of a circus collective that is looking for a live/work space to inhabit for living, training, and community-building. Further down the list is Olympia WA, further along the timeline is UC-something with an Ag program. Wheeee!

update? what?

Things I've done recently-ish:
Heavy work at the ASC Conference, including performing 2 bits (original routine and a housemate's puppet show) in the big performance last night and designing/creating the  conference logo:

got a straight razor and learned how to cut hair off my face with it (pictures will maybe be forthcoming)
2 weeks in Springfield MO coming up! I want to connect with people while I'm there!
re-wrote a song (Transcendental Medication) for the La Casa house concert last month, maybe I'll record the new version and put it up somewhere.
craziness! I don't even have time for a long blog entry! Well, mostly because I don't have my own computer anymore...

green populism

FS: I don't need to sleep...ever.

How about that dance party at the Jefferson memorial, huh? Yeah, the one that got busted up by cops who arrested someone for dancing...right in front of a statue of the guy who said "Force is the vital principle and immediate parent of despotism" and "Every generation needs a new revolution."

My quads are sore right through from riding 150+ miles this weekend delivering cookies, I'm about to go bug Liberty Tax into the ground for still not getting me my W2 (what with taxes being due tomorrow and all), and things are generally hopping. Updating this business is a lot spacier sans-computer.

Urbanana

FS: The garden isn't flooding constantly.

Benefit concert for the Gesundheit! Institute on April 1 @ the Iron Post in downtown Urbana. Be there!

I've got the cookie delivery and nude modeling jobs again in Champaign, living in the same co-op with a couple member changes, making experimental connections (egg+personal pizza=not so good, 100% cotton neon green+100% cotton neon orange=excellent but ill-fitted mittens), and performing with the As If Ensemble Of Urbana occasionally. The second time really is the first time after all.

-spent most of last week in New York City...unpremeditated...after performing in a BookClub Burlesque (pictures [actually, this time] coming when the photographers get them online)
