Tim Hardaway - Mr. Crossover

Profile of John Amaechi - the one who is mocked

Tim's Gift to John, perhaps all Homosexuals, on Valentines Day

Public Reacts to Tim's Gift - Comments by O'Reilly

In Tim's most recent interview,

"...We[our family]'re just gonna get through it um...with um...with God's help..."
"...Right now I really can't make a statement about anything, um...I was advised...you know to say nothing..."

I have nothing to say to this.
it's just Simply Amazing what our tongue can do...

"I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain."
Philippians 1:20-21

Responsibility of Christian is not to gather others into fellowships and be satisfied with the growing number of attendees (Keep in mind, Jesus was furious of politics). Nor it is to sacrifice their entire beings to save others in them knowing Jesus Christ (which most learn after several heart breaks).

Think about it for sec: how is it possible that the number of Christians stays the same while the number of Christian organizations continue to increase? (Statistic shows that one NOVA Korean church is most likely to create three more churches around its neighborhood).

Job of Christian is pretty simple as Jesus repeats his three favorite verbs: tell, pray, and believe.

Christians, I believe it's time to go back to the basic.

Hopefully this little story of mine will cheer all of you that are down, miserable, overwhelmed, sad, tired, weary, or ______________ (think of your own words if you wish).

This Halloween day, my computer (Toshiba) stopped working all of the sudden while I was working on my paper. I tried turning it back on, but nothing seem to work, and with 5, 6 more papers to write, I knew my life was now officially over.

I fasted the day after hoping that God will “cheaply” fix my Toshiba without any problem. Well, the next day, I got a phone call from the computer support saying that my $400 Toshiba’s motherboard is completely crashed for unknown reason, and that it will take $500 to fix. I was only tongue away from cursing at God, but I just decided to shake it off and think that He’s just telling me to buy a new computer, which I really could/can not afford.

When I searched online for three days, one computer that I saw was Dell Inspiron E1505. It was one of the cheapest, but it included everything that I wanted for my laptop. With that in mind, I sadly called my brother/sister on my way down from NOVA on Sunday telling them about my whole situation. They were very supportive, like always, which made me feel even worse for asking their favors over and over and over again…
With mixed emotions, I hung up my phone, and that’s when God started answering.

Mike Yi, who was listening to my phone conversation on the front seat, asked me:

Mike Yi: “Paul, do you need a new computer? You might want to ask Paul Oh. He bought his laptop couple months ago, and he somehow received 2 exact brand new computers in price of 1 because the company made a mistake.”

This was little hard to believe at first; I called Paul immediately:

Oh Paul: “Yeah, it’s a long story, but I have my other computer underneath my bed, because I didn’t know what to do with it.”

Kim Paul: “Um…Paul, you know I love you right? Well…my computer just crashed, and I really need a computer right now. Is it ok for me to borrow your computer for a little bit?”

Oh Paul: “Yeah, of course. Just call me when you get here, I’ll bring it to your room.”

Kim Paul: “No no. Not just a day or two, but I mean like a semester or two…?”

Oh Paul: “Yeah man. I didn’t know what to do with it anyway; I’ll just give it to you when you come.”

He gave me an approval like he was waiting for someone to give him a call.

When Paul brought the computer to my room, I was the first one to open the sealed box.
Still doubting that all this was real, I opened the laptop and saw the computer’s name curved by God himself right beside the power button:

-Dell Inspiron E1505-

I’m currently using His gift to write this entry.
Are you down? Just remain in Him and he will fo sho remain in you.  (John 15:4)

P.S. This entry goes out to you, Paul. Hopefully this entry will remind you that God is using you to continually bless and encourage the others, like me, around you. Thanks bro.
