| Almost married!!!!! Only 5 days left!!!!! Woohoooooooo.
I can't wait. A lot of people have been asking me if
I am nervous......I'm not nervous....just excited!!!
the Last of the Carpet gets laid tomorrow. the Temporary porch is
built... the shower tile is laid.... I'll grout it tomorrow.
Everything is getting done as it needs to...
Leaving for CA on tuesday night....I'm taking the day off of work so I
can get all the "stuff" done... then three friends and I are driving
straight thru to CA. Hope to get some sleep in the
truck on the way...... Tooooo many late nigh..I mean
mornings. :D
Ya'll can be praying we have good travel, good weather for the wedding,
and that Brenda and I are prepared for this big
change.

| A busy week no doubt.....lets see. got a call Wed. night from the
friend that I borrowed the trailer from. He needed his trailer
back on thursday night... sooo Sam, Phil, and I emptied it out in the
rain. Wasn't too bad actually. The mattresss (sp?)
are in my room so its a little crowded. The furniture we put in
the master bedroom piled up in the middle. The piano and all the
boxes we put in the dining room since the floor is done
there. Friday we wrapped up the house in Wimberley.
It looks pretty good to me.:D Saturday I went down to Metro
Flooring wholesalers in San Antonio. I was called by them after
giving my number to the carpet-layers on the wimberley house.
Turns out it was God working. I got a great price on
the carpet and the install.. .. And the tile I wanted to use in
the guest bath (that seemed a little too expensive) He has
a builder who ordered too much, so he is selling it at cost to me to
save paying restock fees. Praise the LORD! I got the
tile on the Master bath floor layed on Saturday night. I am in
the midst of grouting it right now. After church this morning
went to garcia's for lunch with the fam. Then Papa, Jonathon and
I went to see Batman Begins, alas it started too late for us so we saw
Fantastic Four instead. Pretty good movie. then went to
church and did the soundroom by myself.. Lots of fun. My friend
James, who is going to Peru on Tuesday, Stan,Krystal, and I went to
Mamacitas for some fellowship and Food....... :)

| YAYYYYYYY!!!!! The grout is in the dining ,kitchen and Laundry areas!!!
Thanks to some help from Stan and Krystal,my Mom,Katie, and even Sam.....
was thinking i would have to do it all by my liddle lonesome tom. night...
so,, if I get up early in the morning I can seal the grout, and then
move stuff inside from the trailer tom. night....I am also planning on
putting in the master bath countertop, all the electrical plugs and
switches in the master suite, and maybe laying down the hardiboard in
the bathroom..... After that is done (maybe tuesday
night) I will put the trim in the office and the master
suite...Then I need to putty,sand, and varnish said trim. Then
the office and the master bedroom will be ready for
carpet!!!!!!!!!!!! by the time I get all that done the
countertops will probably be ready to install. I will have to take a
day off for that or perhaps beg one of my sisters (that are still in
the area) to housesit for me.... I have posted some fresh
pictures of the house on the up2thelimit.us site...
First time since Kalyn's wedding....Between being very busy and my
upload not going well, there are quite a few. : New house
album, progress on master ....yada yada...
I now have the newest pictures up front and the oldest last.. seems to
make more sense to me since everyone I know lookin at them has seeen
the old ones.

My Girl is at Awana scholarship camp up at BIG BEAR Lake in CA.
It has been tough so far this week since she is incomunicado pretty
much....First time in our "official" relationship. Just a
reminder of how sweet a blessing it is to be able to calll people up at
any time. email, IM,cellphones! How did people maintain
close relationships without our technology??????
They must of had much more patience the I do!
It has been good to remember to keep placing Brenda's
safety,well-being, and happiness in God's most capable
hands. He soooo knows what she needs more than I ever
possibly could.

| Wellllll, all Brenda's stuff is here in TEXAS.
Jonathon Dudley and I drove out there after work on Thursday Pulling a
3 horse trailer I borrowed from Todd and Mindy Merkin. We only had one
blowout on the way there... About Deming NM we thought a
tire felt flat so we pulled off and checked it at the first exit in
town. No sign of a flat..... stopped 2 exits later at the
McD's for breakfast and found we really did have a flat when we
came out. Tried going to Walmart for a tire but they do not sell
tires for trailers. Ended up at Big O waiting for them to change
a tire on trailer with a backhoe on it.... Oh yeah
forgot about the other thing....... We stopped for gas at anthony
NM right across the border from El Paso. Once we started the
truck up again the Brake light was on and the ABS light and we had no
speedometer. After calling Stan we headed to the Dodge
Dealership in Las Cruces, seems the speed sensor on the Rear
differential had gone bad. All told we spent about 3 hours
working on different problems on the way out there.
Saturday we loaded up most everything by 11:00 am, Jonathon,Brenda and
I went up to the 'Cabin' in Wrightwood to pickup the Hutch. Had
some Ice Cream downtown in the midst of the Fourth of July
celebrations. Lots of fun. We hung out on Sunday and then
left on Monday the 4th.... We had smooth sailing until we
got to within 30miles of Deming again. Had one blowout, changed
it for the spare, 20 minutes later we lost the tread off the
spare. We were right at an exit with a truck stop and a truck
tire shop....they didn't have the right size tire. We ended up
dropping the trailer,driving into Deming, driving back out to the
trailer to lock things up securely,drove back to Deming, got a
motel, Went to KFC and they were closed, finally Wendy's was open
for 4 minutes morev when we got there.
Slept extremely well and then got two new tires,drove back out to the
trailer (15 miles away) and started on our way
again.. we arrived at home about 8:30 pm.
The main push for me is getting the kitchen flooring done (which I laid
the tile today) , finishing the trim upstairs, and tile in the
master bathroom.
God is blessing me with the strength to keep going on!
42 days..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woohoo!!!!!!!!!
I am sooooo looking forward to being married. Having my
Hunny right here to talk to, instead of on a cellphone that likes to
cut out often.

The plane was delayed leaving Phoenix because they needed to replace the pilot's chair. Unfortunately the new chair would not fit. sooo.... they had to wait for a new chair. only left like uhhhhh 45 minutes late...
Got to the Ontario Airport about 25 minutes after we were supposed to.....
no big Deal!
I Am soooooo glad that I don't have to work on anything today. 
Seeing my Babe for the first time in almost a month is a Great thing!!!!!
Besides trying to fit into the 'other' time zone. I'm doing awesome. ttyl | | |
