can't sleep....

it's 2:30am and i'm wide awake.  think maybe i have too much on my mind right now.  when one has too much free time, one tends to have long, unnecessary thoughts, it's like a domino effect.  am worried about a possible positive tb test result, wondering if indeed tb+, how would that affect my disability insurance premium.  then i moved on to think of who could have possibly given me tb and the suspects include 2 of my hiv+ patients, which reminded me of my strange encounters with them and that frustrated me.  proceeded to blame the nurse for voiding my test result b/c she wasn't there at the school on the day i am supposed to have the test result read.  the slightly raised bump set off the + test alarm.  I dread about the re-tb testing in 2 weeks;  if tested positive "again", will have to go thru horse pills treatment for 6-9 months; getting nauseated just thinking about them.  continued to scare myself by google-ing images of tb+.  i still can't sleep.  bummer.

1 month and 4 days to go....

...until graduation!!!
5/17/07: 7pm: Meyerson Symphony Center, Dallas TX.  You are invited to share this exciting moment with me.

Four years ago, we entered BCD with simply an obsession for teeth...

Four years later, with a little bit more of dental knowledge in our heads, we're ready to go out and take on the world!!!
Pictures of group 1, everybody looking sharp in the white coat!

Spring break 2007!!!

10 more days 'til I get on the cruise!!!  I cannot wait to be simply on the beach, soaking up the sun, sipping a margarita (or 2) and snorkeling away in Cozumel .  The last time I went on a vacation was, yes another cruise ship!  But it was so much fun!!!  I need to get away!!

On another note,
I've started job searching.  Wish me luck!

Patients wanted

To my dear friends,
I am currently screening potential patients for my upcoming WREB (my last step to licensure!!) in April.  The screening is free (which includes an exam and x-rays).  I am mainly looking for patients who have not have a professional cleaning for over a year and those who may need a certain type of fillings.  Please leave me a comment/email if interested.  I'll tell you more about the exam in detail then.  Thanks!
P.S. If you have what I need, you are then my saving grace .  I heart you!

Pre-boards anxiety + Post-boards fun

I'm starting to feel the impending threat/stress brought on by boards, with only a few days left, there is no way to learn everything I still need to know.  Good news is everyone who has already taken it received the passing status, so hopefully I will be able to achieve at least that (fingers crossing).  Been studying for this for about a month now, my motivation has plummeted since school began.  I find it difficult to focus after a long day at school.  Seems like the only thing that keeps me going is the Wii, which hopefully will be in my possession after wednesday next week.    I was reading this article about how Wii gives you a good workout and you can actually shed a few pounds from 30 minutes of playing.  Interesting, will have to test the concept out.  My study breaks consist of Wii game searching, quite pathetic I must say.  Here are what I found though:
