Art into the Night

Wow, last night was one of the most thrilling art expreiences I've ever had since my senior art show!!  Me and my best friend Billy were hired as Caricature artists at my cousins prom.  Boy, let me tell you, they went ALLLLLLLLLLL out for their prom.  I guess this was an after prom party which was held in the gym, but what it consisted of was pure awesomeness.  Their was a Indie Anna Jones exhibit with tourches and dugeon looking stuff, their was a Pirates of the Carribean exhibit with a pirate skeloton riding a boat with a sea scape back-drop, their was a HollyWood exhibit with a red carpet and a HUGE sign in the front of the school, and their was a casino exhibit with gambling and card games.  I was superly impressed with all the hardcore work that went into such a event.  Anywho, back to me n Billy's artistic story.  So yeah, from the start i was a little nervious because we havent drawn a whole lot of caricatures in a while.  But when ever we busted out our drawing pads and popped out our markers, the crowds came a coming.  And dude, it was extraodiarily amazingly fun, me and bp had a blast drawing people and giving them silly bodies.  It was always great to reveal the drawing to the couple after we were finished and to hear them clap, giggle, and be amazed.  It wasnt scary at all, we just had loads of fun and it showed in our work.  And the best part about it was.............their was a $150 paycheck for the each of us.  After we packed up and said our goodbye's, we hit the road 4:15 a.m. hahaha.  We made it at my house by 5:30a.m. and shut out like a light switch.  Twas a wonderful experience with Art into the Night

The Loss of a Precious gift

I dont even know how to begin this entry.... right now im lost wthin myself.  It all started last tuseday the 15th when i had my church band practice.  Ather the session was over, i had a very intense ringing in my ear.  I wasnt scared at first because this has happend many times before...although this one never went away.  It is has now been a week and three days and the ringing still consumes my ears.  I was very shooked so i decided to research why my ears were ringing much longer than they normally do.  I found out that what i have is a disorder entitled Tinnitus, which is a constant ringing in the ear due to noise damage and other damages. The ringing...............................doesnt go away.  So far there is no real cure for this disorder.  Basically, my ears will be ringing for the rest of my life.  I am very frightened, stressed, and depressed knowing that i will have a high pitched ringing noise forever.  I am afraid to go to sleep at night because when there is no noise at all around me, the tinnitus is the most intense.  The silence is very deadly to me now, i can never get away and relax.  This is all to much for me knowing that finals are just around the corner, i cannot focus at all.  I dont think i will be in a rock band for much longer.  After six years of being a musician, im finally being punished for all the loud concerts and band practices.  All i have left is my faith, my girlfriend, my art, and my goal to be an art teacher.  Right now this is so much to handle at once.  I feel that over the ages i will figure out how to deal with my Tinnitus.  I will get by, i still have much ahead of me.  If i cannot enjoy the sounds around me, i will do my best to help others enjoy the world around them. 

Wonderful stroll with my Love

This day was one of those days where everything seems delightful and pleasent.  I got to see my long awaited girlfriend, i couldnt be more happy just to see her smiling face in my presence.  She made all my stress and burden sadness disappeare for the day.  We took a wonderous stroll in the woods, next to the old lake, an occation in which i long awaited.  It was quite peaceful to listen to the birds sing, the wind sway the trees, and the rushing of the water in a nearby creek.  Along the journey, we exchanged old stories and wonderous ideas of the future holds.  I took her on one of my favorite paths, one in which branches off the main trail.  We stopped to look at a moss covered tree and smelled the fresh air.  Then my baby did the cutest thing, something in which i will never forget.  She was i guess a lil ways back and i was just kinda roming around, when all of a sudden, she pounced on my back and held me tight ^_^.  hehe, it was so adorable, I've always wanted a cute experience like that.  It was truly a nice refreshing walk, one that we truly needed after so much intense college pressure.  It was a wonderful stroll with my Love <3333

Holding on by a Thread

The past couple of weeks have been nothing but stress.  Everything has piled up to the very end, and im realizing that it may not be possible to complete the many priorities i possess on my shoulders.  Life just seems much harder than it used to be.  I seriously cannot even think strait, i lose everything and forget the basics of life.  My mind is so consumed with my studies that all else is forgotten.  I really need a break from all this, i don't know how much longer i can hold on.  Even an entire day away from everything would be refreshing and reviving.  Sometimes i feel like everything is against me, trying to have me fail and watch me crash and burn.  But, i then realize that im not a person who quits, no matter what, i will accomplish my goals.  I just need to understand that its only going to get harder than it is right now this last month.  I have to focus and ignore all distractions, im in college for one reason, to be a teacher, and i will be a teacher.
