| Thankful Thursday
It's been a while since I have posted here since I have been very busy! I thought I would do a thankfulness post, as that would probably be the best way to describe everything that has been going on. Things I am thankful for:
1. I only have three more scheduled days at my job. Although I will miss the residents I have been caring for over this past year, I will be glad to be on a more realistic schedule. 2. I finished my first quarter of school today! Just three more rotations to go! 3. Because of #2, I have no homework this weekend! 4. I had a fun day yesterday helping a school nurse do her annual health screenings at a rural school. 5. Encouraging blog posts that remind me that there really are other Christian women out there.  6. Time to sit, think, and reflect. |

| I noticed today that in October I have a 9 day stretch of continuous classes, clinicals, and work. Something is going to have to give . . . |

| Tomorrow I have another 17 hour day - class in the morning and then working a shift for the rest of the day. I will survive. |

| Hurricane IkeMy family has been following the news about Hurricane Ike really closely because we used to live in Galveston and still have friends there. We have been trying to figure out if our old house got flooded.  However, it was at the highest point on the island - 18 feet above sea level.  We think our friends were smart enough to evacuate, although we haven't heard anything yet. It sounds like flooding was really extensive. Something else to pray about, for sure. |
