| Moving right along... As you can see....I'm not exactly keeping up with things here. That's because I have a Facebook site and a MySpace. I'm trying to narrow things down a bit!!! So, I am going to bid Xanga farewell and concentrate on Facebook...with a little MySpace on the side. My Facebook name is Wendy vW. | ...and back from the 'brief' break...Sorry folks....life is just a LITTLE hectic on this end.
Short version; new on-campus dorm building has been approved, we'll be living in a classroom for the first semester, til the building is ready, that's two moves in 6 months...I am SO excited  . Filling the time with prep for our around-the-world trip in June-July (planned around a conference in the States), feeling the loss of those usual breaks during the school year about now....bla bla bla.
Long version....I don't think so!! (refer to the 'life is a LITTLE hectic on this end' statement)
Well, that's it from me for now.
I have a MySpace (vanwyks)...I know, I know, but half the people I want to stay in contact with are there...and so are quite a few of you, so hush!

| On a sad note...This week my sweet little kitty of eleven and a half years went on to kitty heaven. If you believe there isn't actually such a place, keep it to yourself! Me, I reckon if 'the lion' can 'lay with the lamb', the rest of the feline family should be welcome to snuggle up too We are missing him, but he had a good life and pretty much went downhill fast over the last week and the end was mercifully trauma free.
It's been an awfully long time since I updated. Life has been crazy hectic and doesn't look to be slowing down any time soon. We are off for a few days as we celebrate Lunar New Year (Happy Lunar!) and my assignment is due the day before we go back to work....so, guess how I'll be spending most of the break  I am very much enjoying the course, though, so I won't complain.
The search is on for 'where to live' next year as there is much uncertainty about everything at the moment. On campus? Off-campus? Who knows...oh wait, thankfully Somebody does....but He ain't telling yet.
Okay, I need an early night (yes, it IS early, darn it! It's before midnight!)
