| | So so much to update...
First of all, I'm currently sitting in a beach house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina with my dad's extended family. w00t! It's wonderful, but it is certainly a trip to get here. I was travaling for over 20 hours straight and covered over 5000 miles, which is no small thing. Needless to say, I'm a little jet lagged.
Hawaii was freaking awesome!!! Seriously if you ever get a chance you should really take it, because it is absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. We did so much snorkeling, and I actually ran into a giant sea turtle. Literally, I didn't see it because I was looking down and bumped into him. There were a huge number of amazing flora and fauna, but I think my favorites were the sea turltes, the manta rays, and the baracuda. Even out of the water, it was amazing. We got to go to the top of Mauna Kea and Haleakala, 14,000 ft and 10,000 ft elevation, respectively. The tours of hte observator on top of Mauna Kea, the Gemini Telescope was amazing. The whole trip felt like I was in a NOVA episode.
Before that, since i seem not to have mentioned it, I got to go to Notre Dame to visit Ruthie which was just phenomenal. I can't explain how great that weekend was, the time I got to spend with her, the midnight walk around the grotto and Lake St. Mary's It was so nice.
Speaking of which, just 4 more days until I see her!!!!!
