so i'm writing a blog...

here's my life in a nutshell (that's figurative by the way. my life isn't really in a nut shell):

-i go to college! (finally...i convinced myself that a 4-yr degree would be beneficial for my career)

-still with nic...going strong

-went to africa again...and going back in august. i now administrate eote/missions at my church

-work as my dad's assistant in his real estate office

-babysit jade once a week...(he's currently stripping...no...now dancing butt naked)

i have the best boyfriend EVER!

so...my honey is in ohio for our first valentine's day, but that doesn't mean he forgot me! he ordered flowers and went shopping and sent everything to my best friend so she could deliver it to me today...

first...i got THE MOST BEAUTIFUL orchids ever...which are my favorite flower...so that was extra cool...

then i got your traditional box of chocolate...some fun lovey-dovey valentines stuff...

a beautiful butterfly necklace from my favorite jewelry line: 2028 (formerly 1928)

and...a butterfly ring! (in case you couldn't tell i love butterflies!)

and of course, a card...but not just any card...the entire inside was filled with the most beautiful love letter...

and i was on the phone with him the whole time...which was pretty cool too...

so yeah...best valentine's day ever...

and to my amazingly wonderful boyfriend: I love you baby. thank you so much for everything but most of all, thank you for just being you...you are more than i could ever ask for....

so life...

still working for nabisco...thinking of quitting soon tho. gotta find another job, but my body can't take it anymore. my back's really bothering me again, my knee injury's flaring up and i'm tired of being tired all the time...

family life is great. there still little spats here and there, but nothing bad. just normal stuff. i like it like this...

youth group started up last thursday and we had an amazing turnout. 32 kids showed up!! it's amazing, i can't wait to see how many come this week. i'm also priveleged to be on the worship team, didn't get to sing opening night because of circumstances, but it's all good. i had an amazing time off-stage during worship so i'm not complaining.

Nic and i have been together for 6 weeks and 2 days, but it seems like so much longer. it feels like i've known him my whole life...well, technically i kinda have...but anyway. he amazes me more and more everyday and i can't thank God enough for putting him in my life. he has helped me through so much and i am amazed at the patience he has for me sometimes, but i won't get all sappy on you...i'll just say that i couldn't ask for a better boyfriend and there's no one in the world i'd rather be with...

and that's life at the moment..

i'm just on myspace WAY more than i'm on here...

still working with nabisco...survived thanksgiving, so now we'll have a slump til christmas...and then no more holiday rush! yay!

things are better with my mom...i've made some major breakthroughs in my life and i've been able to talk with her about them. still workin on my dad tho...

got involved in youth leadership at my church and made the worship team...so that was pretty exciting. i'm getting over my fear of singing in public...

and probably the most exciting news is that i'm not single anymore!! nic and i made it official sunday night and we're going to talk to our parents when he comes home for christmas...which is exactly three weeks from today! i'm so excited...i miss him so much...
