| belle paris i am coughing my head off and its totally bugging me! poor bashir was sick and then he passed it onto the rest of us at the office.
oh well, i hope it goes away soon.
this whole week at work was so weirded because of the awkward breaks. i thought that monday felt like a friday or a weekend day. wednesday felt like a monday and everything was shifted around. not to mention, my sleeping habits were all weird too because i was sleeping later. and then in the morning i would be so tired for work.
this whole week of work was really weird. there is so much stuff going on at the office, but at the same time there isn't. i finished up our media binder, and it looks pretty nice :) i spent a long time doing it, but it was worth it. lol that took most of the day.
i was suppose to update when i got back about my trip, but then i got lazy lol. go figure.
i had so much fun when i went out to montreal :) the ride was the toughest part. it said that the total ride was going to be 8 hours, but i got to montreal one hour early. there was barely anyone on the coach bus. i was thinking about how it wasn't profitable, but then when we got back, the bus was totally full. not to mention, on the way back, the bus was bustin' down before we could get out of the station, and we had to switch coach buses.
so when i got to station central, i waited until angela's bus got there, and then we headed off to our hotel. we did so much walking because we refused to take the metro. but it was good, because we saved some dollah dollah bills y'all. our bed and breakfast place is actually a 200 year old house that they revamped. its pretty cool because the house is sectioned off into private rooms and not private rooms. it said that we got the second floor, and when i went upstairs, i saw just one floor with lots of curtains and i thought the whole room was ours. i was so excited. but i angela and i kept walking inwards, i see beds hidden behind the curtains. i then realized that the floor wasn't ours, lol. but our room ended up being a very quaint room. it was cozy and very cute :) i loved the place. getting the bathrooms were pretty hard since there was only one. we would have to line up. but we managed anyways.
the concert at night was so good. not that i've been to many, but i think that will be one of my favorites :) yael's voice in real life is so pretty and its so much nicer than her voice on her album. it kind of gives me chills when she sings certain things. i had so much fun :D there was this annoying girl in front of us, and she kept singing so loud, and so off key. and she couldn't stay seated properly. so we had to keep telling her to sit down. yael came back out for an encore since everyone was clapping so much. i wasn't sure if i was allowed to take pictures, but then other people started to, so i said i would too.
the walk back to the house was pretty sketchy, and scary. we tried to walk along bigger roads...but i think that just made our overall trip longer. lol. we got back, waited for the showers and then went to bed. the next morning, we showered, again, and then ate and packed and we headed off to hillman's. thank goodness i got his number because i dont think things would have worked out properly without him. lol.
we went to eat with his family, and then shopped at this mall called "dix30", and it was pretty big since it was an outdoor mall. angela, hillman and me walked around till closing. we got back, and then went out for dinner. and then after went home. angela and me chatted in hillman's sister's room for quite some time, and then chatted with his sister. we ended up sleeping at 3....mind you our bus leaves at 8. we slept in completely. but we ended up trying to catch the 11 off to toronto and ottawa.
then the next day, i had work. but then at night, i went to circa :) what i remember the most was the girl who got kicked out of the club for throwing up, the sticky/wet floor from people spilling their drinks, the whole asian population in toronto there, and that cool dancer girl in the window. it was pretty fun, but it was super packed.
by the time i got into the cab, i TKO-ed until i got home. the next day, it was beach day. i was so excited since i've been waiting to go to the beach for a while. i went down with ray to meet flora and ritchie at the beach. lol ritchie locked his keys in his car, and so ray and me had to get his keys from this guy at bayview. all in all, it was good because without his keys, i think it would have sucked with all his stuff in his car. there were so many people with dogs. makes me wish i had a dog so i could bring it there and walk it.
i think i got a slight tan. probably not.
i want to go to the beach again :)
on wednesday, i went to the Y with daisy to have our group consultation with a personal trainer. his name was wade, and he was super nice. he showed us how to use the machines, and how to set it and what weights, sets, and reps we had to do. he also taught how to do a proper sit up. lol. we struggle so bad. i have a Y assesment sheet and i feel bad because since then, i haven't worked out. i am suppose to fill it in to show i did excercise, but i haven't. lol he wants to see us back in a week. but i feel good because i know somewhat what to do.

| i'm a new soul in this strange world. today is absolutely very hot. if i was really into nice hot weather, i'd be ecstatic but i don't much like hot weather. it makes you sweat and everything!
i think my face is sunburnt. my whole face is like on fire. when i put water on it, it hurts too. its rather red on the left side. i think its because i went to the markham music festival yesterday to see my sister perform. her band got nice shade, and then all the rest had to sit outside not covered. my neck and collarbone area is also rather itchy and red. so that means, i got sunburnt there too. mofolofo!
the festival was pretty fun! i don't think i ever really liked outside fair things. but i think i've grown to like it. i like the cool stuff you can find there. i bought these two pots / bowls from this village pottery place where i went for electives in grade school. it was cool to see they were still there! the bowls were painted by cerebral palsy patients. they look pretty good! and then the money that you pay will go to the person who painted the bowl. i wanted to buy all the bowl, they were all so pretty :)
and then we had lemonade :) it was in a giant lemon like the "sixteen" cartoon. it was so wicked. i bet you they made a kajillion dollars.
before that, i went to see my mom belly dance :) shes the cutest belly dancer ever. its really fun because she gets really embarrassed when me and vee cheer for her. but she secretly knows she likes it. they are going to have adult hip hop starting on july 7th every monday from 7:30 to 9:00pm. i think i'm going to go for fun :) its a drop in class. anybody else want to go!!
and then saturday night, me and flora were so bored. we had nothing to do. i, surprisingly, was in a driving mood which is super rare. and so we decided to go to sobey's :D i drove me and ray down and ritchie drove him and flora down. i had to pick up groceries for my mom so the trip to sobey's was kind of eventful :) i now know how to pick tomatoes. lol thats it. after ritchie was hungry so we went down to bamburgh (?) circle for pho. i felt gross that night since i ate so many jelly bellies prior to going out so i felt guilty for eating. after, we all went home :)
today i woke up and i didn't do much. i hung out my down blanket so it could soak up some sun since apparently thats how you clean it. and now it smells like gross outdoors. bad move febreeze time! and after we had to pick up my dad's car that he recently got. now we have two cars! i'm excited. i brought monchi along on the way there because i don't like driving by myself. and so when we got there, it was pretty hot in my car, and our a/c broke. i swear i'm doomed to live life without a/c forever. and so monchi was dying. she rarely ever pants, but she started to pant, and i was freaking out. so i had to rush home with her. and then i poured water all over her body since she didn't want to drink it. lol i don't think it helped very much...but oh wells :) and before that, i went outside to take pictures of monchi. i want nice pictures in my room when its hopefully revamped before summer is done.
during the week, i didn't do much except for work...unless i did, but then i forget. i always tend to forget. oh! some office drama and thats about it. friday was an exciting day, thats all i really remember. i got in that day, and then it was pizza lunch day because that week it was "appreciate public service" day. we got free pizza since the pizza guy went to bloor st. west and not east. he was ultra late...so we got free pizza :) we also got ice cream bars and yogurt popsicles. and then i also got my first pay cheque and my ID tag :) and then me and sally went shopping at eaton's and at the corner of h&m on dundas, we got free t-shirts for talking to future shop people. i bought very little which i was kind of happy. i find i'm still in the "not really wanting to buy much" mood. i'm pretty critical of what i buy now because of work. lol i always ask "do i really need it?". it usually is no. if not, i'll buy it, and then feel guilty and return it. lol! on the way there and back i bumped into michael , one of my school friends. there was some crazy shit on the subway and i subwayed all the way to STC talking to him. i got home, and i was so tired.
i'm excited for the days to come. i'll be going away to montreal with angela on friday to see a concert at theatre maisonneuve and then just walk around montreal. i like montreal and the atmosphere you get when you walk around at night. and hopefully i'll bump into hillman :) and then i'll be going to summerlicious 4 times which equals broke ass jess in no time. and then maybe circa and the beach with flora :)
this has to be the most eventful summer i've had all my life.

| its gettin' hot in here its so hot now. its starting to actually feel like summer!
yesterday was such a nice day. it was a "lets go to the beach!" type of day. i had t sleep with my fan on right beside me because its so freaking hot. but i have this habit of sleeping with my blankets because it makes me feel more secure. my blanket is super thick and it made me all sweaty. i really hope i get air conditioning this summer or i'm just going to bake off pounds of fat and get alot of heat rashes or something.
anywhoo! so i haven't updated since may. lol lemme see what i can write about to fill in the gap.
so the other week was my official full week of work. that week i had a few presentations to go out to and also visited the sherbourne office for the first time. its alot nicer than i expected because all my co workers were saying how ugly it was compared to the malvern office. we had to move stuff around and clean stuff for it to be ready soon.
the rest of the week was pretty busy with somewhat alot of stuff to do. we had to prepare for HAY week and our grand opening which is on monday. i hope those two events work out well.
over the course of the week, i went shopping with sally , had a few doctors appointment, and work. i don't really remember doing that much since by the time i get back from work, i'm totally drained and i just pass out.
yesterday i went to go watch sex and the city with flora and luxsan :) the movie was pretty good considering i don't watch sex and the city and they explain roughly what is going on. i love carrie's shoes. i like the ones she wears all the time. and her house was super delux nice.
i hope when i grow up, i have girlfriends like that. its so cool. and each one of them are so baller.

01 do some laundry
02 clean out clothes i don't wear or i've never worn (don't you hate that)
03 make monchi a bed
04 alter the clothes i need to alter
05 clean my room....or at least some form of cleaning
i need to purchase air condition asap.

| lack of updates as follows i would like to update more often about stuff but then i find that after i come back from work, i'm so tired, i just pass out when i get home.
so i will write briefly about what has happened so far.
i am enjoying work at the moment and its pretty fun :) theres always something to do and thats a good thing since it pretty much keeps you busy all the time and you don't find yourself in awkward situations where you don't know what to do.
at first i was pretty lost about what the goings on was, actually i'm still slightly lost lol. on my second day, i was going to stay at the office but then i got sent to go do an informational booth at st. lawrence library with kofi. i was pretty excited since it was my first one :)
i'm excited to go out on more presentations. i have one with victoria park soon on wednesday, so it should be exciting.
i need to regulate my sleeping sometime soon....and also clean my room.

i forgot to type in. so this morning, i was getting ready and then after i didn't notice the earring on the ground, stud side up. and so as i was stepping onto the floor i heard like a puncture noise and my foot was hurting my a bitch. and so i lifted up my foot and then i didn't see the earring. low and behold, he earring was punched into the bottom of my foot, like it was in my foot stud side up.
i pulled it out with some resistance and it didn't bleed at first...and then it started to bleed. now its sore. i was limping around, and i didn't want to tell my mom because she would be like "this is what you get for keeping stuff on the floor" or something along the lines of that. but i ended up telling her and she was like "do you need a bandaid?" and i said yes. and so she fixed my boo boo and then said "that happened to me once".
no wonder she didn't tell me to clean my room.
