Are you a true son or an illegitimate child of God?
Hebrews 12 talks bout God Disciplines His Sons 4In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood. 5And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, 6because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son."
7Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? 8If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. 9Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! 10Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. 11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
12Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. 13"Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
Have u ever had those moment that when you read the Bible certain verse just jump out n spoke right into your heart? This was one of the moments I had today when I was doing my devotion~

There is no height or depth Neither life nor death That can take me from all that I find Here now in Your Glory Lord
No other powers or love The things of now or to come There's nothing on earth in this life That could ever separate us Lord
Your Love is never ending To your hands we surrender Where all our sins are washed away Your Grace beyond reason Has paid for our freedom We're made alive in You
We run to Your Throne Where we belong Every heart will sing That Jesus is Lord Casting all else aside For the joy of our Christ Let Your Glory fall Our hearts are filled with Your Fire
No other powers or love The things of now or to come There's nothing on earth in this life That could ever separate us Lord
~ I would rather be a limping princess who possesses the FULL blessings from the Lord like Jacob rather than a running servant who chases after the blessings. ~
So Father, I declare You are the victorious King and Lord over my life. I am not ashame of my struggles. I lean on You in my weakest moments, I give my life, my emotions, my all to You and choose to put my full weight upon You. I choose to praise You in the midst of my pains n struggles. I WILL NOT let You go until You have blessed me.
