Wow...it's been seven months since I last updated!  Time flies!  Andrew and I have been married for a little over 6 months now and (I don't mean to be sappy, but...) it's wonderful!  God has truly blessed us with each other.  It's so good to come home to him instead of calling him on my way home and only seeing him a couple times a week.  Marriage is an amazing thing and I'm so thankful and glad that it was the Lord's will to send me such a loving, good man to be my lifetime partner.  God is GOOD!

Today is snow-day #7 for Mansfield Christian, where I am the band director.  That means we're going to have to make two days up sometime, which is a bummer, but I have to admit that I've enjoyed the days off.  I needed time to get housework done and just to chill out.  It's been nice getting to spend more time with Andrew too, although it's harder for him to get his schoolwork done when I'm around because we always end up talking instead of doing whatever needs done.    Today we went sledding with his brothers and sister so now I'm totally whipped!

My junior high and high school bands along with the junior high and high school choirs have a concert in a little less than two weeks...that reminds me; I need to wash my red suit jacket (Mansfield Christian's colors are red and white) so I can wear it for that.  Random, I know, but it's my life.  I'm enjoying being a band director and loving my students.  It's great to be teaching at a Christian school and sharing the Lord and the truth of His Word freely as part of my lessons!  Again, God is good and has placed me in the perfect job! 

And that reminds me.  I need to go do some reading on the Philosophy of Christian Education.  Sounds boring I know, but I love that kind of stuff!  Adios for now! 

Someone asked me to marry him today...and I said YES! 

So it's been a super long time since I've posted...  So I'll do a quick one now since I have to get to writing a lesson plan, practicing piano, and then heading home, where I have no internet.    Actually, the no internet thing has been good for me, because it not only keeps me from wasting time, but it also keeps me from worrying about getting stuff done...I simply can't because what I need to do requires internet.  Therefore, I'm forced to do it before I get home, so when I do get home, all I have to do is chill.  Why didn't I think of that on my own? 

Well, I have 9 more official days of student teaching left, and less than three weeks till I graduate.  I am soooooo ready!  My sister will be graduating as well, and I'm even more happy for her than I am for myself because she and her husband are expecting their first child in August, so I'm glad she'll be done with school before her third trimester.  We're all really excited to meet their little girl once she's born.  I'm an AUNT!!!!     But yeah, school's almost over.  I'm gonna miss the little rascals, (and they said today that they didn't want me to go) but it's definitely time.  I'm in the job searching process right now, so if you could send some prayers up for me to get a job just where God wants me, I'd really appreciate it!  Oh, and prayers for my sis and her baby would be great too!
