| The year is almost up already its April. I have no idea what I'm doing this summer. I'm turning 21 in a few weeks, and to celebrate I'm going skydiving. Not actually on my birthday but soon after. I can't wait, it's something I have been wanting to do for years. Right now I can't make up my mind to change my major or not, or maybe change schools. Tomorrow is a preview weekend so I'll be busy all day herding the kids around. Pretty much that is it. If you need to know something just ask. | | |
| Well the internet radio station isn't up and running yet. Big surprise! (sarcastic) Central is known for being slow about everything. The McPherson station is still running smoothly and if you want to hear some of our shows go to http://www.centralchristian.edu/eventradio.html if that link doesn't work go to www.centralchristian.edu on the top of the page click calendar/events this will take you to a page that has options on the let hand side click on radio updates there is all of this years shows plus last years. You won't hear me in the last couple of weeks shows because I was behind the scene running the board to make the show go smoothly. I signed up for my spring semester classes and I am again taking 16 hours and looking to take a couple more online. Work is going well, I'm in the library 7 hours a week, and find that I don't want to go there if I'm not working. Things are starting to slow down which is good. So far this year one of my friends got married and in the last couple of months three more have gotten engaged. Next weekend is the biggest preview weekend of the year. So far we are expecting about 80 kids to come but even more are signing up. The tuesday after that I get to head home for thanksgiving. I can't wait to go home and be with my family. Last weekend my parent's and brother came down and had a little barbecue cookout behind my dorm, with a few of my friends, it was a gorgeous day and I enjoyed having good food. Well I better get back to studying. It's two test thursday. | | |
| Another couple weeks down. I'm working in the library, and I'm way too efficient for my own good. I get all my tasks completed and then I start working on other tasks, if I'm not needed at the front desk or helping at the computers. This year I'm again in a radio class, last monday I was the announcer, it was fun but very nerve wracking. We are starting up our own internet radio station. It's exciting but it's also a lot of extra work so we will completely run a station ourselves as well as still do our weekly show for McPherson. There aren't as many people in the class as last year and we added a couple of new people. Everyone in the class is a Communication major, so the ones from last year we have inside jokes, and the newbies don't get them. We also have a punishment system for missing a class. We assign the person who missed the worst story for them for the next week. It's a lot of fun. When we get our internet radio up and running, I will give a link. Yes, I know its 3:30 in the morning. | Well I'm back in college and it's only been a week but it feels like a couple of months. I'm training in the Library right now. So far all is going well, the system is like the high school's so it's been easy to adapt to. I'm taking 16 credit hours, and I'm looking to take a couple more hours online. I don't have a roommate this semester so I have my stuff aound the entire room which is really nice but it does get kinda lonely every once and a while. I'm already tired of the cafeteria food, I know it's a big surprise. Well I gotta run to my next class. | | |
| My first year of college is almost over, so far I have applied for my classes, applied for a job in the library, and have been frantically looking fo a roommate for next year. On top of all of this I am completing last minute papers like crazy and a couple of projects. Also packing up here and I'm going home this weekend to pack up all of my stuff at home. Turning twenty on Sunday, still have no plans to celebrate. I might babysit Ryan all day on Saturday so dad can go out and get some things done because mom has to work all day. Thats all I know for now except that the Kansas wind is blowing me away. hehe | | |
