Name: Kevin Country: United States State: Pennsylvania Metro: Bucks County Birthday: 10/8/1987 Gender: Male
Interests: I spend my time playing video games... that's it.
Well, thats not entirely true. I haven't played video games in a while. I do like to watch shows like: The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, House, Scrubs... Pretty much if its funny, I'll watch it. I listen to music, my favorite band being Jimmy Eat World. I also like Straylight Run, Postal Service, Snow Patrol, The Shins, Coldplay and Death Cab for Cutie. I also like hanging out with my friends, you know movies, making fun of things at school, sledding into sheds, etc. Expertise: I don't think I have one.... I mean, I don't feel like I'm good at anything.... people always say.... "Kevin, your good at this or that..." but I don't feel that way... Because, no matter how great you are at something, there is probably a dozen people better.... And that is how I feel.... Occupation: Student

| ITS KEVIN'S MOVIE REVIEW TIME *God Damn I Suck At This!* Wow, I have done a terrible job of keeping up with this movie review thing. I saw atleast 5 or 6 films over the course of the last few months and I wrote nothing about them. Well, for the next week I guess I could try and review them, though I don't see much point since most of them (if not all) are no longer playing in theatres. But that is neither here nor there. What we come together on this most holy of days (MovieReviewmas...) is for the ending of the hiatus that was KEVIN'S MOVIE REVIEW TIME!!!
Alright, the most recent film I have seen is Little Miss Sunshine starring Greg Kinnear and Steve Carell. Within this film may be one of histories most dysfunctional families. As the story goes, the Hoovers' daughter Olive has just found out that she has a chance to compete in the Little Miss Sunshine Beauty Pagent, a dream that she has had for years. Though not exactly thrilled with the idea, the family agrees to drive to California so that she may compete.
Each member of the family has their own little quirks and problems that make them unique and add to the families dysfunctionality.... Richard, the father, is a motivational speaker trying to promote his 9 step program with little results. Sheryl, the mother, tries her best to keep the family together and to limit arguements. Uncle Frank, has recently attempted suicide after losing his job, his apartment, and his lover. Dwayne, the son, hates everyone, and has taken a vow of silence until his dreams of getting into the Air Force Academy come true. Olive, the daughter, dreams of being a beauty queen, though she doesn't really feel like she fits the part. Finally, theres the grandfather who is a foul-mouthed, heroin snorting, grumpy but kindhearted old man who has been helping Olive with her talent portion of competition. But through all of their short comings, the family tries their best to make the trip to California, with bad luck coming at them throughout the trip. The moral of the story is that all you really need is family, even if they are a bit messed up.... I give this film..... 5 Kevins out of 5!

| ITS KEVIN'S MOVIE REVIEW TIME *Special Double Feature Edition*
Well, its been a real long time, but I have a special treat for you kiddies.... Not one, but TWO movie reviews!
First up is X-Men 3: The Last Stand starring Hugh Jackman and Halle Berry. This being the assumed final chapter in the X-men series of films. The story starts off with the development of a cure for mutants. Needless to say that both the good guys and the bad guys ain't too thrilled! The X-men think this isn't right believing that their powers are gifts, while The Brotherhood think this is some evil scheme to destroy mutants.... again......
And that's not even the worst part, Jean is back..... FROM THE GRAVE!?!?! And she is ever so pissed! Killing people left and right, friends and foes. She just might be too hot a chick for anyone.... LITERALLY.... Another added bonus is the fact that my favorite character, Angel, makes a cameo appearance in the film.... I mean come on, the guy has angel wings! If that's not divine intervention I don't know what is!
The single greatest thing in this entire film is the Juggernaut scene. Where he says his famous internet parody line...... "Do you know who I am? I'M THE JUGGERNAUT, BITCH!!!
Next up is Mission Impossible 3, or MI3 for short..... This film starring Tom Cruise tells the story of elite IMF agent Ethan Hunt in his latest and greatest adventure ever! Or not, I don't. They obviously can't make a movie out of every single one of his missions.
In this one, Hunt wishes to live a normal life and settle down with his soon to be wife, Julia. But of course the government needs him to save the world..... again... Hunt tracks down and captures a dangerous arms dealer who, after an awesome attack on a bridge, escapes. But he's not alone, the dealer has Julia and he wants Hunt to get him a little present in exchange for Julia. What will Hunt do? Perform an insane acrobatic stunt? Blow everything up? Get a new girlfriend? Save the day? Watch it and see!
I give both of these Sequels of the Digit 3: 3 Kevins out of 5

| You Are The Moon....
Shadows all around you as you surface from the dark, Emerging from the gentle grip of night's unfolding arms.
Darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone? The subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone.
You don't see what you possess, a beauty calm and clear. It floods the sky and blurs the darkness like a chandelier.
All the light that you possess is skewed by lakes and seas. The shattered surface, so imperfect, is all that you believe.
I will bring a mirror, so silver, so exact, So precise and so pristine, a perfect pane of glass.
I will set the mirror up to face the blackened sky. So you can see your beauty every moment that you rise. | | |

SHAZAAM *He Saw A Movie!*
Tonight my little liberals and conservatives I saw the film V for Vendetta starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. What can I say about this film except....... *sob* I want a cool mask like V!
V for Vendetta tells the story of a young woman named Evey who is saved from near rape by a vigilante in a mask who goes by the name of V. Evey soon finds herself in the middle V's plans to overthrow the totalitarian government. In less than 24 hours V succeeds in blowing up two landmarks and taking over the television airwaves to spread his message to the people to look forward to the next 5th of November. Taken "hostage" by V, Evey begins to unravel the mystery of man behind the mask while at the same time realizing her true self.
Overall I liked this film. It had a bit of everything: Action, Explosions, Mystery, Karate, Politics,...... Bollocks? and a little bit of Romance..... ladies?
I give this film..... 5 Kevin's out of 5!:

The only thing better than the film was the company......

| - This Is Not An ExitTonight will be the night that we begin to ease the plugs out of
the dam.
And we will stand knee deep in the flow,
the undertow will grab our heels and won't let go.
Abd while we hold, our legs quivering,
the water rises now to our teeth when we just let go.
And sail belly up to the clouds, the rocks scraping our backs.
To breathe in the air will be the only thing that we have
and all the wasted nights and empty moments in our lives
are flushed away as we sway with the rhythm of the waves bobbing
us up.
Crests fall to troughs as we feel our gills open up.
And sail belly up to the clouds, the rocks scraping our backs.
To breathe in the air will be the only thing that we have.
And if the hook sets in the bottom of our lungs,
we'll rip it out and lick the blood off with our tongues.
Despair could ravage you if you turn your head around
to look down the path that's lead you here, cause what can you
change?
You're a vessel now floating down the waterways.
You can take your rudder and aim your ship,
just don't bother with the things left in your wake.
Just sail belly up to the clouds, the rocks scraping your back.
To breathe in the air will be the only thing that you have
and your love will be warm nights with pockets of moonlight
spotlighting you as you drift, the actor in this play.
You walk across the stage, take a bow, hear the applause,
and as the curtain falls, just know you did it all
the best that you knew how and you can hear them cheering now.
So let a smile out and show your teeth cause you know you lived
it well......
