| japan feverlately, i find interest in japanese matters. i find myself repeating the phrases 'konnichiwa' and 'konbanwa' to myself. it was so frustrating the fact that i can't get into the japanese classes.. meaning i will have to enrol in the coming spring term. what is more interesting is that i hope to land a teaching job after i graduate. preferably in japan, where i will be teaching japanese people english. i wonder if i can do that? since i'm asian and my first language is not english, it is harder to land a job i think. i think i need to find myself a japanese friend to practice with. recently, as a result of this sudden interest in japanese, i find myself joining the japanese club on campus - konja - short for konnichiwa. i hope to make more friends there.. and of course improve on my japanese. i can say a few sentences now.. like 'ogenki desu ka?' which the reply would be 'hai, okagesamade' hmm more studying is needed. |
