so the trip home was good. i got home and went right out to applying for a job. i went to the sandbar which is a bar on the beach. there is a lot of kareoke and a lot of drunk people. LOTS OF TIPS!!! i'm really excited. they are in need of bartenders, so why not? this summer should be loads of fun :)

so i just found out that i'm going to be going home this summer and not staying here. kinda sad but i think it's worth it. here are my reasons:

1.....i really want a summer break and don't want to jump right into classes again in a week
2.....i can't seem to find a job
3.....there is a bar/restaurant on a lake in my hometown and they are in need of bartenders and servers.. and i can do that
4.....i'll be home so i won't need to spend money on food and such (alcohol)
5.....i'll be able to see my friends at home a lot more and see KIDS shows
6.....i'll be making a lot more money (but right now you can take out the 'a lot more')
7.....i can work as a swimming instructor and make MORE money
8.....i'll be home for my cousin's wedding
9.....i realized i can take all of my classes i need to graduate next year (w/o having to take summer classes)
10.....it's $3,000 MORE to take summer classes. and i don't want my parents to go throught that pain.

although there are so many reasons for me to go home. i know i'm going to miss muncie. so many of my friends are going to be here over summer and i was so excited to be able to hang out with them. but i'm looking forward to this summer at home. at home, there is no high speed internet so i won't be online forever, wasting my days. at home, it seems like there is nothing to do, so then i'll be able to use that time to work out and start shaping up. next year is probably going to be my last year in college so i really want to spend this summer working out and looking good so when i go out to LA after college, i'll (hopefully) have a better chance with a modeling job.

so, yep, i'm going to miss you muncie and friends, maybe i'll come visit...and by maybe i mean probably.

well today is my last final. german....EEEK. then i'm going to go apply for a job here and there, then go to out with my love, kirsten, since it's going to be one of the last times i'm going to see her for a while. then i have to decide whether to stay out for Baustin's 21st Birthday or to go back and sleep.....what do y'all think..? i think i know what i'm doing

so i'm so happy right now. i finally got my DAPR changed to my current major (Gen. Studies w/ voice and theater minors) and i realized that i could possibly graduate next may. however, that is if i push credits to the max and i don't knwo if i wanna do that. so i'm thinking about graduating in dec. 07. i can't believe that it's happening.

i'm also really excited about next fall. i got a chorus part in Thoroughly Modern Millie and i'll be doing a lot of tapping!!! it's going to be so much fun. Josh got a part too and that just makes things so much better, i'll have someone to talk to the first few nights of rehearsals before i actually know/meet everyone.

I have an english final today and it should be pretty easy, but first i'm going to a little cookout my friends and i are having right now. yay for finals week.

YO YO YO. so i really haven't updated in a while. but, brittany made me realize that it isn't just because i was in vienna that i needed to update people, it's 'just because'. and i don't know if that made any sense at all...it did to me. So i was with kirsten tonight and i realized that i really miss being abroad. We looked at her pictures and reminisced about our good and bad times in vienna. i got to thinking how much i miss it, and how i really want to go back. I'm thinking that when (not if, because i know i'm going to) i go to Ireland next summer to study abroad again, i know that before the program starts, like a week before, i'm going to fly into vienna and visit my host family and friends and visit the sites. then i'm going to take a few classes in Ireland. I LOVE being abroad. and seriously, when are you going to get the chance to do that? Probably 30 years from now, after your kids are done with college, or during their college years, when you have money and time to spend. That's why i want to get all of my traveling done now. Kirsten studied in Ireland two summers ago and said it was so rewarding...and that's what i'm looking for.

I'm serious. if any of you get the chance to study abroad, DO IT. i can't tell you how much it has changed my life. As i told kirsten, this year has been the best year of my life. I study abroad the first semester, then i come back to BSU and i take random classes (because i'm changing my major) and really the only class i have to study for is german, which is basically a review/reminiscing of last semester. I couldn't ask for a better life.

This summer i am staying here and taking a few classes and hopefully working at Scotty's Brewhouse, or another job, maybe as a bartender (since i have my license and all). My checklist for this summer is: see charlie at busch gardens, provide music for my cousin's wedding, be in my brother's wedding, camp with kirsten and jess, see a Kids from Wisconsin show (preferably at the state fair), AHA reunion in LA/SF, try to get some modeling jobs while out in LA/SF, make a lot of money, start my photography business. I'm sure there's more, but that's what i got now.

That's pretty much all i got. I'll try to update more frequently.

Joke of the day: So two women, one from New York and one from Chicago are sitting together on a plane. The Chicago woman says to the other, 'Where are you from?' and the other replies 'Somewhere that knows not to use a preposition at the end of a sentence." So, the Chicago woman replies, 'Oh, i'm sorry, where are you from, BITCH!??'
