| it's been 2.5 months since my last post and i thought i'd break the dryspell with a bit of an update:
- just got home from work 45min ago...10:30pm -- work has gotten better from where i was about 2months ago. although i am occasionally overcome by urges to quit and take 6mo to 1yr off to just travel, i regain sanity and learn to appreciate how lucky i am - i am now 29 years old as of 3 weeks ago. thanks to everyone for their well-wishes. also, happy birthday to eileen (my doppelganger), sunny, and jen (in about 51min, EDT). - my parents celebrate their 34th anniversary tomorrow. they leave for their scandinavian cruise in 2 weeks...so lucky - congratulations to the new graduates who are pursuing bigger and better things as professionals and will no longer have lives: the doctors (tim and eunice), the lawyers (jen and sam), and the banker (my bro, janssen) who has sold his soul to barclays capital doing pretty much exactly what i do - i recently hired a maid to come in every two weeks. she is my savior
and has saved me much anxiety and unnecessary weekend toil. - i just got back from cabo san lucas with a rather large group. we rented a condo to save money and veged out literally for 1 week. our days comprised of eating tacos (taco cantina!!), sitting on beach chairs reading trashy magazines whilst consuming large amounts of blended fruit drinks, and watching videos at home. let's not forget bowling night and almost seeing indiana jones for only $6 (the operative word is "almost" -- thanks enny) - i went to southern africa in early april as well. i fell in love with it and will definitely return. i will post some pics at some point when i stop being lazy. if u are friends with me then you most likely have seen some pics anyway. now i must conserve vacation days for the rest of the year so that i can potentially visit seattle over labor day weekend, perhaps take a day off when crystal is here, and go home for christmas.
that's all for now. for everyone else who hasn't posted recently, let this inspire you and be the catalyst for more blog updates.
