I'm finally in Houston... I totally forgot how good it feels to be back home. 

I’m still in Wichita. I was in Wichita for Don's Graduation, I wanted to see him walk, but I was too short to see over the people that were in front of me. My weekend was great. I spent my weekend with him before he left to California Monday morning. Sunday evening, went out to dinner with his family. It was...nice. My sister is leaving back to Houston Wednesday. I’m leaving back to Dodge Thursday and go straight to work that same night. I have to unpack and do my laundry and pack again and leave to Houston Friday morning. I miss my family so much. It has been a year since I've seen them. I really do need this vacation. I’m looking forward to it. By the time I get back, I’ll be working till Don gets back. A month....gee...

I've been working and been getting about $25-30 off tips, which is pretty good. I was working today and Son Yao Ming walked it! I guess he's going to be playing in the NBA? Oh man! He was like 7 foot tall! I felt so petite around him. I kept on refilling his soda because every sip he took, it would be half gone. There were people running in trying to get a picture with him and acting like he was a giant freak. I had to repeat myself that he didn’t want to be bothered. I also got his autograph, which I accidentally forgot it on the top of the fridge. Hopefully the morning waitresses won't find it and it'll be gone by the time I get to work tomorrow! Wow, what a day.

I learned that not only you’ve been stepped on so many times by the same person or variety of people; the best thing to do is to not let them take another step forward. Change starts when someone sees the next step.

It is always the simple things that change our lives. And these things never happen when you are looking for them to happen. Life will reveal answers at the pace life wishes to do so. You feel like running, but life is on a stroll. This is how God does things.

I’m feeling much better than just a couple of days ago. I was treated with 2 different kinds of antibiotics and I have to say, it sure did give me a kick in the butt. I’m up and running. I couldn’t go out last night because I was still a little sick, but I’m ready for tonight. I’m not going all out and get buck wild. I gave up half of the things I’ve been doing and it’s time to relax and spend time with the guys; nothing gets better than that. No more wasting money on dumb things! Life is alright. I think it’s time to go back to school. I haven’t been to school all week!

I’m eating like crazy like I haven’t eaten in days! Well, maybe I didn’t eat for the past couple of days because I didn’t have the appetite. But now, my belly is growing! I need to lose a couple of pounds before summer arrives (ha-ha)! It’s right around the corner! Houston here I come, baby!
